Q: Your thoughts on these 4 new companies for my speculative portfolio, long term hold 5 years. Thank you!
Q: Hello, when one reads the company profiles of both HON and RTX, there are some similarities but it seems that RTX is more government dependent (government IT contractor, defense, intelligence). If you had to buy just one of these companies, which one would it be? Thanks, Gervais
Q: Back in July 2020, I purchased ABBV, in a non-registered account, to get exposure to the healthcare sector and to continue to diversify my portfolio outside Canada. Since that time, I am down 16% on ABBV. Knowing 5i recommends ABBV, would you suggest I purchase more ABBV (average down)? Perhaps it would make more sense to sell it, take the tax loss, and purchase another healthcare company based outside of Canada. If your recommendation is to sell, what other healthcare sector companies would you suggest?
Q: I have read about Vanguard Index Funds and would like to pursue.
I have excess cash that I would like to invest long term in the broad US stock market. I DIY via Questrade - my current portfolio follows your Income Portfolio.
Which of the Vanguard funds would you suggest and could you provide the symbols for such? I'm assuming I could purchase these thru Questrade.
Thanks for your help.

Q: Good day,
Wells Fargo analyst downgraded DXCM in addition to lowering its price target from $420 to $350. Has anything drastically changed and is it still worth holding? Thanks

Q: Is there a Canadian listed Canadian dollar ETF that holds many of your USA favourite companies: NVDA, VEEV, DOC, MSFT, AMZN etc, etc.
If not is there a US ETF that holds a concentration of some of your favourite companies? Not just a sector ETF, but more focused on your favourites. Currently I'm only invested in Canada, and I want to invest, starting small, in some of the USA companies you are recommending, but, if possible with a bit of diversification.
Or if nothing exists, maybe I should just pick two, say NVDA and VEEV and invest in those in US dollars? Would those two be top of the list? It is for a small amount, about 5% of my portfolio.

Q: EXP Realty International. A friend has taken his brokerage from the Remax franchise and put it into this firm. Can 5i give me a quick analysis for a possible investment?
Thanks in advance.

Q: i have noticed that 5i prefers JPMorgan as an American bank. I read recently that Warren Buffett has bought more of an already large component, of Bank of America., while selling other banks, like Wells Fargo. i imagine you can't go wrong on either of these two banks, but it would be interesting to know why you would prefer JPM over bac, and since you like to look at the other side of the trade, why Buffer would seem to prefer bac.
thanks as always for the great service
