Q: The VUS etf is hedged to the CAD dollar. Do you believe it`s wise to switch to the unhedged version (VUN) for 2015, as the US dollar looks poised for strong growth.
And related to this, what is a suitable portfolio percentage allocated to USA etf`s for a retiree. Thank-you.

Q: Hi team
I have $6000 USD in a USD investing accounting and already own EMR Emerson. I would like to split this into US Healthcare and US Technology but cannot decide whether to go with ETF's in each or two individual stocks. I am looking for growth moreso than dividend. Which way would you recommend I go and if so which ETF's or stocks ?

Q: Godd afternoon 5i,

Most of the advisors that I see on BNN are suggesting that the US Market is the place to be for 2015 espacially in the Finance area and the technology area. Do you agree with these suggestions? If you do would you recommend that I invest for My RRSP in XLF.US and XLK.US?

Q: Hello 5i team

I hold a 4% position and have done quite well seeing a 16% increase while collecting a very nice dividend.

A suit is being brought forward by Credit Unions that failed under the weight of Mortgage-backed Securities they bought from WFC prior to 2009. I have read one article stating WFC remains a buy recommendation with a ratings score of A, and 3 others (including Bernstein) downgrading the bank.

Can you please share any opinion you may have in this matter and what your advice for me moving forward might be - hold or sell.

What fallout do you see from Express Scripts' decision not to fund Gilead's Hep C drug, not just on Gilead, but on the U.S. biotech sector and healthcare sector? Q: Happy Holidays! All the best to you and your families! I currently have a 1.5% weighting in Catamaran and would like to slowly bring it to a full position in my portfolio. Do you feel today's price is a good time to start adding? Also, do you have any suggestions for a cyber security stock in Canada or the US, something like PANW? I have long time frame and high tolerance for risk.
