Q: EOLS has fallen a lot on the news that one of their large investors is selling 4 million shares to ML. Does this drop make sense to you. The stock was 29 dollars a few weeks ago and now less than 17 dollars. What do you think? Do you think it will recover and should I hold my position or sell.
Q: notwithstanding what seems to be a good AGM yesterday and with further announcements forthcoming, the stock is mired at it new low for the year with much selling to offset any new buying. Good balance sheet with improving fundamentals. What gives here?? Some manipulation to keep it depressed?
Q: Great market response to decent Q($13.60 up .85).How was conference call? Time to add to my 3.5% position($17.28 p/p) Thanks for u usual great services & views
Q: Do you think that Medison will now start selling off their considerable position in GUD? I know it's not in their interest to dump quickly and crash the price, but I can't see them being supportive of the company going forward. How do you see this playing out now?
Q: I would like to know what the Management and employees have been doing other than collect salaries for the past 5 years, other than a few small acquisitions and filings with the authorities it seems to me that they do not deserve much compensation. I can't see them "working" 50+ hours a week looking at investments day in and day out year after year. What have they been doing? Goodman raised a ton of money at $10.50 or $11.00. I would like to see Goodman and his management team paid a salary of $1 per annum (just as Steve Jobs did) and be paid with stock options, not at the current value but at $10.50 or $11.00. I have put my faith in this guy but like a lot of shareholders I think its time to move on from Goodman and his underperforming company. Goodman's talk of an overnight success for my grandchildren does not give me much comfort. I was hoping for more of a shake up yesterday and was disappointed it did not occur. The fact that his Dad owns a company that competes with Knight was something new that I did not know when I purchased GUD shares.
GH seems to have had a positive earnings report. Any color commentary you could add to about the company and continued growth? Is now still a good time to buy? I like that it is doing well today in a down market.
Q: Do you have anything new to comment on the quarters results?

Q: GMP just came out with a favorable report on this company with a buy recommendation and a target of $1.00 (+50% from current share price). It has started off the year with a nice lift and volume seems to be picking up.
Peter, I would be interested in your thoughts on this one.
Q: Can you provide comments/your take on what happened with the voting results. Does anything really change or is it the same slow approach going forward? I am even on the stock but have held it quite a while and it's been dead money. Time to move on?
Q: We have been divesting ATL1880 but it still is 1.7% of our portfolio (was 20%). One reason is because I realized that its return is mostly ROC and it has a high turnover rate.
I feel that the turnover is churn to the benefit of management company. I have recently read that receiving ROC is not necessarily a bad thing. Would like your opinion in general and in relation to this fund. This is our last mutual fund holding and its fees are also higher then I think reasonable. As we need income I want to replace with something that would provide equal income so would appreciate any suggestions you may have.
