Q: 5i Team,

How similar are these 2 companies? I have 2.5% positions in both (at a healthy profit - thank you).

Should I sell one? I own DSG in a cash account at +100% - hence have to pay cap gains, and KXS in my TFSA. I know KXS is a top pick of yours..

I'm fine with risk.

Thanks,

Q: Hi, could you please provide your comments on today's news of the large acquisition by Boyd Group. Boyd has been growing in US lately. This is a major expansion in Canadian market, Ontario. How is it different than the US, where insurance companies like to mostly deal with established repair chains like Boyd ? Do you see possible equity issue, near term ? Thanks

Q: You did a portfolio review for me in March and it was very helpful. I sold some losers, still have some stragglers and picked up a few great stocks & ETFs. I am wondering if I should hold CXI until later in the summer, in hopes business picks up or sell it now and buy KXS. I am down 40% in my TFSA and it's hard to sell but I am tired of waiting for good news. Your valued opinion, please. I know that it is no longer in your portfolio.

Q: Hi Peter, Ryan, and Team,

As a long-term investor, I've been happy with A&W's performance, but note that John Heinzl in his Globe & Mail column "Stars and Dogs" is now referring to it as a "dog" due to the first decline in same-store sales in four years. Would you stay the course with this stock or look for greener pastures elsewhere? As always, thanks for the valued advice.

Q: I honestly do not understand the rise, the p/e valuation of this company, this is no company reinventing what they do,nothing high tech, only providing a much needed product. I mean is there not someone else in north america that also provides these products and trades at a more reasonable valuation, or do they have the whole market all to themselves, if so,than it can go higher and higher,i guess. So my end question is this the #1 company in the Canadian & US Markets?
