Q: Further to Stephen's posting about BIP USD dividend discrepancies Sep 11, 2025. We have noted similar issues with BIP, BAM and BIPC in our Questrade accounts. We have asked our broker to request Brookfield to pay our dividends directly in USD. This is possible according to Brookfield's websites.
Summarized below from : https://bip.brookfield.com/bipc/stock-dividends/dividend-history
Currency Option
The quarterly dividend payable on the Brookfield Infrastructure Corporation’s Class A shares are declared in U.S. dollars.
....
Canadian Beneficial Shareholders
Canadian beneficial shareholders whose shares are registered in the name of CDS or a name other than their own name (i.e., generally those holding their Class A shares with a Canadian brokerage), should contact their broker if they would like to receive the dividends in U.S. dollars.

Q: What do you think of Enghouses’s acquisition of Sixbell’s Telco Division.
I can’t find much info.

Q: Hello 5i,
I stumbled upon this US small cap (INOD) in a previous Q&A from 2024, but I wanted to get your most recent thoughts. It is growing and profitable which is positive and a good start.
Have a great day and thank you in advance for the great insights.
Cheers.

Q: I know this isn’t your favorite stock but what are your thoughts on the latest earnings report and is there anything in there that changes your mind on the company
Q: Would you take a tax loss on CSU in November or wait till December? Thank you
Q: CSU cash flow was up an impressive 33% and organic growth continues to trend above historical average. Yet the shares have taken the worst beating of its public life, down around 35%, and now trade at a very reasonable valuation. Is it not in the best interest of shareholders for CSU to invest in its own stock at this point of time given these unique confluence of circumstances?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Q: Hi,
CNR seems to be going thru a rough patch this year with further reorg ongoing.
What are your thoughts on it versus CP? I am considering switching my CNR position to CP. Thank you.

Q: This is not a question but an observation. I do mortgage default work, and Goeasy got into the 2nd mortgage business in the past few years, and those loans in Ontario, at least, are underwater. On the two files I saw just this past week. They will suffer a complete loss because, unlike 1st mortgage loans with banks, they are not insured. I don't know how much of their portfolio is in the 2nd mortgages. As of their investor presentation from August 2025 and Q3 2025 results, 39% of their total loan portfolio is secured by hard assets, which include real estate, as well as automotive and recreational vehicles. The presentation does not indicate the % related to real estate loan porfolio.
Q: your thoughts on the recent quarterly report please? Seems like there is a pattern forming? last quarter was also disappointing. Is this stock worth holding ?

Q: Hey 5i, these consumer staple stocks have basically done nothing over the last 10yrs. They used to be a place to go when you were concerned about market pricing with a little growth and a dividend. Have things fundamentally changed or is everyone just obsessing over AI and technology and forgetting this sector. Also is there anything buyable in the sector with some growth and a dividend.
Q: This stock has caused me to demonstrate an almost unbearable degree of patience. I expected to sell after the earnings release but now am not so certain. Your opinion on quarter and prospects would be appreciated.
Q: In regards to GSY's dividend. In your opinion do you think it is sustainable and they are unlikely to cut the dividend? Many thanks.
Q: I have owned this in the past and am looking at reentering in the $13 range if it gets close to that. Your thoughts on the quarter and on my thesis that it should be a low volatility, slow growth dividend payer would be appreciated.

Q: Good morning, could you please identify 8 "safer" companies you see at or close to the bottom of their trough at this time that have a dividend (% of dividend does not matter)? For example my guess would be CNR which was at $178 in March 2024 and now at $135 with a yield of 2.63% at this price.
Thx,
Kevin

Q: Good morning. Please help me understand the drop after earnings. I still have a fairly good gain on the stock but wondering if I should sell, or buy more. Thanks
Q: What is your view on SOLS for a long term investment in the Materials sector? Its first earnings report and forward guidance is out and it looks like being a profitable growth company. I received some shares in the spinoff and am thinking of increasing my position.
Q: I’m interested in your thoughts on the effect a reversal of the US tariffs by the Supreme Court would have on the public markets.
Thank you for this great service.

Q: Hi team,
What’s your take on Turning point brands and the sector in general? Could the nicotine pouch business be as huge as some say? They reported this morning; the market seems to like the numbers .

Q: It appears Globalstar has not denied the rumours about selling itself to Starlink. So there must be some truth to the rumours. Presumably once Musk controls Globalstar he would cancel or buyout Globalstar’s contract with MDA leaving MDA with no business? I understand Apple owns 20% of Globalstar so they would have to agree to the Musk buyout. I can see Apple not wanting to be at Musk’s mercy but also not wanting to operate Globalstar’s business. Any idea what the future holds for MDA. I’m a shareholder.
