Q: I am considering selling SIA, a much larger senior residence company which I have held for years, and purchasing DR, a smaller medical REIT. This question is based on fundamentals and growth rates. May I have your opinion?

Q: Hydrogenis has been trending higher of late, although it seems to fall back as fast as it goes up. However this morning it is up over 5%. The only news I can find is that they will announce earnings on Nov. 6th. Would this signify optimism in the earnings report, or could it be that someone knows something we don't? The volume is low. Thank You.

Q: Well, i feel that you are being a little short on your patience with this company, i own many of the company's in the growth portfolio, and feel that you could easily replace 6 to 8 of them with better growth companies, before you dump ZCL, are we just becoming qrt. to qrt. investors now?

Q: The Tinley Beverage Company Inc, focused on hemp oil-infused beverages and supplements. The Company has the only patent-produced liquid supplement containing certifiable phytoconstituent-rich hemp oil.
I'm thinking of getting some of this stock,
I believe the cannabis industry (for now) will grow over the next few years.
Would you rate TNY a "buy"?

Q: Hello,

Hello 5i. We hold some Bonavista in our modest energy sector holdings. To sell low after buying near its high (currently underwater by $20k) seems crazy, not to mention embarrassing. Yet, I'm mulling selling before end of year and replacing (probably also in energy?). My objective is a more reliable dividend payer to replace it with and one that should also respond well when the energy sector eventually comes back, as it always has. This change would be in our corporate account; please also advise if I'm right in understanding this loss could be carried forward and/or offset gains sold last year. Your thoughts and advice on these two points will be much appreciated. Thank you.

Q: Regarding MDNA I would be cautious. I tried to contact them and was unsuccessful. They have various addresses and phone numbers listed on the web in Van, Cal and Toronto of which none seemed viable. I got no e-mail replies. I tried the number listed on SEDAR and got an message but no return call. A man did answer at one number who said he was an investor but then abruptly hung up on me when I began a conversation. At the moment I think its a scam.
