Q: I have a question about AVO.
I have owned AVO for a few years. As you are aware the company will be taken over by Motorola for $27/share.
It is trading at about $26.96 these days and I would like to know if I should wait for the the take over or sell it now. I don't need the money immediately so waiting is not a problem. Additionally, I don't know if I will receive an equivalent number of Motorola shares or will I be "cashed out" of my AVO shares. What normally happens in these situations?

Q: Dow up 700... Tsx flat..the world has stopped investing in Canada leaving it up to us to finance our companies..
Do we not have any profitable companies or assets worth investing in from a global prospective?. Even our own investors seem to be shunning any new investment in the stock market...When was the last time the countries stock exchanges were diverging as they are currently and what do you see are the fundamental problems?

Q: The old FTP reincarnated as FTG
Hate to say I owned FTP back around 25 for so.
My question. In the past they have somehow pulled the rabbit out of the hat and paid
off the coinvertables on due date. In the past they has sold assets. A wallpaper company and a swiss bank note company
They have an issue comming due dec 31 2019
Using your cyrstal ball, how likely are they to default, or force conversion if that was in the original deal.

Q: Hi, I was looking at buying HD but then started looking at Canadian Tire. According to Yahoo finance valuation looks cheaper and faster growth for Canadian Tire. Other than obvious size differences, would there be any other reason not to buy CTC.A over HD? thanks
