Q: With tdoc acquiring lvgo what is the best way to possibly play this merger would it be to buy tdoc which took a big haircut today and will both continue to trade or will lvgo eventually morph into a possible new company under tdoc with the big drop in tdoc would you buy now or wait for more details and the dust to settle
Thanks Greg

Q: I am looking at US Healthcare (with the exception of WELL), how would you rank these companies in when considering balance sheet, management, growth potential, and MOAT?

Thanks,

Andrew

Q: Hello Peter,
i feel that i have been fooled by Mr Goodman on Knight. I have been patiently waiting as others on a large acquisition and despite the purchase the stock is still languishing . I wonder if it is worth hanging on or throw in the towel. My current thought is take my 5 percent position and reduce it by adding to jamieson wellness and Xebec adsorption. Your thoughts please. Also, TDOC in US is constantly moving higher yet well in Canada (well health ) seems to be in trading range .. Any thoughts please.

Q: As a result of comments from 5i and other factors I initiated partial positions in the above 5 companies (so thanks!). All have done well.
At this point I am looking to add to my positions and wondered if you saw any red flags in any of the 5 companies and also in which order you would rank for adding funds.

Thanks,

Terry

Q: Is Quidel worth owning on its merits -- quite apart from the diagnostic testing that's given it an incredible pop in the last month? As a health care play, would you prefer this one over Teladoc, (TDOC) for instance. I realize they are not "exactly equivalent" in terms of their intrinsic businesses, but I am looking for solid growth story in the health field.

Q: I have noticed that WELL has had good moves up in the last 3 sessions, but have been unable to see any news supporting the moves. Have you any thoughts on why??

Q: Am wondering if there is a company or two that you’d recommend which is into teleconferencing with doctors or health officials. It seems like that may be a growing trend for the future to avoid trips to the doctor and expedite the experience saving health care dollars. The company could also be into setting up the software to make this happen. Thnks

Q: Hello friends,

Is it possible to run a screen on all 4 major NA markets TSX, S&P 500, DOW and NASDAQ for the top 10 companies of which stock prices have appreciated in the past (dreadful) month? Perhaps make this another blog subject? It should be interesting.

All the best.

PS Kudos to Peter for his astounding patience with everyone! It's something I'm trying hard to achieve every day, but Peter leaves me in the dust. Much to learn from his example.

Q: Hello,
From my observed reduction of the availability of family doctors, and subsequent basic health care, for some/many? segments of the Canadian population I see the emergence of different schemes of virtual, remote, telephone, etc services. Outside of the public funded/regulated scope this appears to be a fragmented industry ripe for some form of consolidation. Are you aware of any blue chip type companies making any moves either in Canada or elsewhere to fill this growing gap?

Thank you for your always refreshing feedback.
