Q: Dear 5i team.
Looking at Q history, you last pulled ARKK and ARKF from the ARK group of funds as your suggested two of the bunch as at Oct'21.
Does this still stand or has current market backdrop changed your view in any way?
I'd like to get small positions in the best two now that the rotation is well under way.
Thanks.

Q: CI Financial is down almost 14% in the last month. Recent numbers appear good. Has CI just got caught up in the recent market downturn and do you feel now is a potential buying opportunity to acquire more shares? Also, as they continue to acquire Investment Advisors, mostly in the US, and their AUM increases, do they become a desirable takeover candidate? Do you see a Canadian bank or other financial company like Power Corp making an offer at some point in the future? What is the likelihood of a takeover in your opinion on a 1-10 basis whereby 10 is most likely. Many thanks in advance for your answer.
Q: when the stock market drops like it has during January 2022, I wonder who is selling???
is it dominated by traders, aka those jumping ship for future positions down the road, or retail folks bailing out of an ETFs in great numbers or institutional investors like pension plans which would surprise me?
what is your take?......I ask this as it is a head scratcher for me, especially as it isn't like other declining sessions in the 2000 era but rather about
expected rate increases and, to some extent, inflation in the short term
..........thanks for your insight.....Tom

Q: Hello, after doing some research i have come to understand that Shopify has a PE of 32. Is that correct? Seems like that can’t be right. Would you buy now or wait? Thanks
Q: Yesterday you mentioned that there has been recent insider buying in this name. Please provide details as INK Research doesn't show any recent buys.

Q: I sold VET last month as a tax loss harvest and bought NNRG as a replacement. I'm thinking of now switching back to VET. It seems to have done better than NNRG over the last month. Would you endorse this switch back? This is for medium risk profile and an already existing portfolio of oil & gas stocks.

Thank you.

Q: Can you recommend a global ETF that trades on the Canadian exchange that includes the whole global market except for North America? I've found some that only include developed countries but would like it to include emerging markets as well.
Q: I would like your impressions on PUBM. Its valuation is quite reasonable compared to others in this space such as MGNI and TTD. It seems to me that their success depends on the being able to attract more publishers to their platform, not sure if you have any insights into their potential.
Thank you for a fabulous service.

Thank you.
Thank you.
Q: I hold a share of Amazon stock and was wondering if it is time to sell or continue to hold.
It seems to have lost its momentum and the support it once had, seems to be getting lower.

Q: What is your impression of the analyst estimates for EPS and revenues in reports such as Refinitiv? Is there any other source that you find better?
Q: Hi 5iresearch team
At finance.yahoo.com website, I was able to download the historical data of indexes (S&P500, Dow, and Nasdaq as well as the Candian TSX or any other ticker) in an excel file format (CSV). Now, it seems I can do that with Canadian tickers only. Is there a way to download the American companies historical data from the Yahoo site? If not is there another source that provides similar format data?
Thanks

Tricon Residential Inc. (TCN $15.34)

InterRent Real Estate Investment Trust (IIP.UN $13.25)
Q: Good morning Peter, Ryan, and Team,
With interest rates set to climb, do you believe that “residential” REITs/Real Estate stocks like CAR.UN, IIP.UN and TCN should be over-weighted in one’s portfolio? My thesis is that less people will be able to buy a house in an already overheated real estate market, forcing them to consider renting an apartment or home. (I assume that real estate is also overheated in the US when including TCN) Do you concur, and if so, can you suggest any additional names? Thanks.
