Q: Could I have your view on SNC please for growth and income.. Is this a good time to buy? Thanks
Q: The final pricing of the CHC common share offering hasn't yet been fixed, but is supposed to be between $8.50 and $10.00. I recently purchased some at around $8.30, and expected to see the price rice at least a bit. However, tday the share price has fallen by almost 13%, on very high volume for this stock.
Any idea what is going on?
Thanks!

Q: Hi Peter, I bought YGR and RMP 2 months back and now down on average 30% on those. Do you think should I sell them and deploy the capital somewhere else or should I just hang on? I can wait 3-5 years.
Also can you please suggest 3 best stocks combining both of your portfolio considering their current price on a basis of a 5 year overall return(FYI, I have a full position of your growth portfolio)? Thanks a lot.

Q: Good Afternoon
Would you now consider a purchase of either of the two above issues. They would be
held to maturity in a RRIF.
Thanks Guys

Q: Hi 5i:
Can you give me your thoughts on TNC's results, released this morning? Revenue up marginally, but some decent margin expansion. Any red flags (or even yellow flags), in your view?
Thanks,
Tom

Q: Hi Peter and 5i Team, I'm 49 yrs old, retired with a defined benefit pension (Fed Gov) which meets our basic needs (food, shelter & utilities). Do you think it's ok for me to think of my pension as the fixed income portion of my portfolio? Right now all of my investments are diversified in about 50-60 individual stocks with 0 in bonds or other fixed income. Your thoughts on this approach would be appreciated. Also looking for a brief update on the possibility of creating an ETF with your portfolios. This was mentioned a while back. Thanks.
Q: What is your opinion in buying Canadian bank preferred shares in the income
allocation portion of your portfolio as opposed to bond ETF's?
Best regards,

Q: There is a report out that a CIBC advisor, Murray Bockhold in a letter to the Chairman of the Board of Extendicare Inc is asking the company to payout a special one time dividend of C$100 Million following the disposition of their US business, shrink the board to 7 directors from 9 and for the company to buy back C$100 million in shares. Do you think there is a possibility for any or all of these to occur? Thanks
Q: What do you think of Cenovus responding to the rumour on the street that the company is in talks to dispose of the company royalty lands? It is speculated that the Ontario Teachers Pension Fund is the likely acquirer? What do you think of the Cenovus's timing to do this transaction? Do you expect there might be a one time special dividend to shareholders or do you think they would use the funds to pay down debt and/or buy back shares?
Q: Hi 5i: I'd like to check out a comment made on BNN the other day regarding share dilution for Trevali Mining, and other small metals companies currently exploring and producing at the same time. Do you have data for Trevali on market cap and # of outstanding shares for the last few years? Thanks for all your help.
Q: While not a market timer I do like to buy things on sale. Given the decline (and maybe further drop) could you give me a couple of stocks from each of your balanced and growth portfolio that are currently cheap. Thanks as always, Bill Y.
Q: Hi Peter
With the current downer caused by Greece why would BNS get punished the most ?

Q: would appreciate an update on CEW...
the lifeco's are on the rise but the banks are in the doldrums!
what is your outlook for the banks for the short term?
do you think it would be a good time to add to some more CEW to
portfolio (currently at about 2 1/2%)
many thanks - ed
