XPF, CPD and ZPR are down 2.67%, 11.54% and 17.26% (12 months)
a) Why such variation?
b) Is it best to buy ZPR since it is down the most?

Q: Airboss has a beta of 0.17, but after a 4% drop Friday it dropped almost 5% today before pulling back somewhat. Isn't this a bit atypical for a low beta stock, and can you think of any reasons behind this behaviour? I know the market is down, though it wasn't Friday, but most lower beta stocks are holding up better.

Q: The Q2 results seem very good, but I saw they used half of the net earning for "stock compensation", so the earnings/shear become 0.11 instead of 0.24. What does it mean ? It is normal practice? Thank you

Q: I wonder what you think the chances are of CXI following in Home Capital Groups's (HCG) footsteps and buying a small Schedule 1 Bank, as adverse (or to speed-up) to waiting for their own application approval process? If they do, do you know of any that could qualify (or that they could afford)?

Q: Hi Pete,

Watching Freehold go into a free fall over the past couple of weeks. Would you say it is compelling value at $11 given that it has gone from p/b of 4 + down to about a P/b of 2? Or is this a value trap given that oil could go lower from here? I appreciate your thoughts.
