Q: Trying to add to my knowledge base with your superb guidance .... so this is a follow up to my earlier question where I asked if CN and CP were oversold; but I neglected to mention that I had been looking at the W% and the RSI for both companies. To my untrained eye, they appeared to be oversold or close to being oversold. Would you please take a look at these parameters and let me know what you think.
Q: Could I get your take on the earnings reports for Boeing and Brinks. I gather from today's market reaction they were considered quite good. I was wondering if I should add to them at this point.
Q: Hello 5i
Our foreign equity holdings are CBQ at 5% and VEF at 4% both held in rsp's. (also have US holdings of 12%) Blackrock has sent out notification that CBQ will be terminated on Sept.27 this year. Would you please suggest a replacement.
Thank you
Les
Q: No rush on this one, but would you be good enough to list all 5i Coverage universe and 3 portfolio stocks that are listed on Canadian exchanges but pay their dividend in US$?
Q: Hi the great team, following Ron's question on momentum stock, can you name some companies fulfilling the criteria in particular accelerating earning. Thanks.
Q: American REITS are regarded as core holdings of a US income portfolio because of their growing dividend payments. (O, WPC, VTR etc.)
My question is, why don't most Canadian REITS (AAR.UN, AX.UN, HOT.UN, etc.) annually increase their dividends like the US REITS? Most Canadian REITS have been paying the same dividend for years.
Q: What is the payout ratio on these two stocks? When i research there is conflicting information from a payout ratio of 60-70% to a high of over 175%.
What is the forward 1 year P/E ratios on these? Is this an important figure to watch?
Morningstar reports BIP.UN and BEP.UN free cash flow dropping 3 consecutive years and BEP.Un reporting Negative earnings. Would a short seller like the one on EIF pounce on this or do you view these companies as more safe?
Are these still good investments on a 10 year plus time horizon and would it be better held in a registered or unregistered account.
I have a follow up to my previous question. What are the factors that give Algonquin Power and Crius Energy a more favourable view that Northland Power, right now, in your opinion?
Q: Hi, currently I hold these stocks as part of my consumers staples. Thinking of selling L and moving funds into one of the other names. Which would be best? Can you rank these? Thanks!
Q: Hi Guys, if you were to put money to work in one or two Canadian microcaps today...what would you choose. This is approx. 2% of a diversified portfolio...thx
Q: Can you please do an analysis of the purchase by WFT of the Gilman Companies? Ending up with an expected price range for WFT over the next 12 months. Thanks.
I currently have a position on RY, TD and BNS and I am thinking of moving some money from Canadian banks to US banks. So of the three aforementioned banks that I currently hold, which one would you take off the table and is there a U.S. bank that you can recommend?
Cheers,
Harry
