Q: Enwave's recent earnings (loss) statement contained a list of 10 Q1 '21 developments which look positive and it appears to have been winning contracts for its drying process in recent months. And there was another company which used similar technology that appears to have fallen by the wayside. Is what they are doing a significant development for the food - as well as weed - industry, and what do you consider its prospects are? Thanks.

Q: Seems to me that the financial sector stands to benefit from current economic conditions. That being considered, I would appreciate it if you would share some , small, medium and large cap companies that you would buy at this time to take advantage the possible upside potential of various financials. They could be both Canadian and American companies.

Q: I am a 3-5 year medium and long term investor. I need to increase my position in Consumer Staples by about 3%. I currently hold ATD 3% and PBH 3% are in my taxable account. I have full confidence in the management of ATD but I now wonder if their business model has not changed a bit compared to the company I bought a few years ago.
1- If the electrification of transport raises from 2 to 10% within 3-5 years, how many customers will ATD lose?
2- If you have an electric car will you wait 15 minutes to recharge your battery in a convenience store?
3- Can ATD still grow by buying competitors at attractive prices?
4- Will future growth come in less profitable areas such as grocers and if so the P.E. will drop.

What do I do? Can you help me sort this out?
Buy more ATD? Add DOL? Add a little to the 2 already owned and add DOL, not DOL...

I'm lost.

Thank you.

Q: Score has completed their consolidation and is trading up today. In addition they have announced "Private Members Bill C-218 and Bill C-13, to legalize single event sports betting in Canada. Today, Private Members Bill C-218 was voted on and passed overwhelmingly at second reading in the House of Commons. Similar legislation in Bill C-13, which was previously introduced by the federal government, would legalize single event sports betting at the federal level in Canada and is anticipated to be taken up by the House of Commons in the near future." Am I correct in assuming that with shareholder acceptance of the share consolidation and todays announcement, the stock should continue to be well positioned for growth.
Thanks

Q: I have read the About Us section on the Topicus web page: "Topicus.com is a leading pan-European provider of vertical market software and vertical market platforms to clients in a select group of public and private sector markets. We build, acquire and manage industry specific software businesses which provide specialized, mission-critical and high-impact software solutions that address the particular needs of our customers." So, if I got it right, Topicus is in a sense a mini CSU operating in Europe, is that right? In terms of their business and what they do, are there differences between CSU and TOI? Thank you

Q: Responding to Wilson on Dec 21 you stated that Acuity Ads was moving up based on a "comparable valuation move" relative to TTD based on "price to sales" and that "momentum in the stock is about the best we have seen".  Valuation relative to competitor MGNI was also mentioned in your response.  Since then AT is up approx 40% while TTD is flat, and MGNI has more than doubled.  Please provide an update on the current relative valuation of AT, TTD and MGNI using the price to sales metric (and any additional metric that you feel may be relevant).  Do you consider AT to still be significantly undervalued relative to TTD and MGNI?  Looking ahead, is it a takeover target?  Do you think that the current momentum on AT will push it higher?  Are there any catalysts on the horizon that may push it higher?  Thanks to 5i I have a substantial position in AT with a cost base of $1.46.  I really like to let my winners run but sitting on a holding with a 19x gain, I need to decide if/when to liquidate some of the position.....thank you.
