Q: What do you think of this company - just recently IPO'd. in Canada. Don't normally jump right in after an IPO - usually wait until it settles down - worked well for me on Shopify - I know these companies start trading on "potential" and not on "fundamentals" but just would like your opinion - you have given me a lot of good ideas over the years and I know that no one has a crystal ball but appreciate your expertise on smaller cap companies.

Q: PBL reported on Wed Mar 13. They missed on both the top and bottom line. I know that you cannot judge a company on one quarter but I would appreciate you comments on this company going forward for a 1 to 2 year hold. They really did not give any specific guidance for 2019 except that they felt that the EBIDTA should return to the expected levels and that the trend should continue. I have a 5% position in this stock and I am wondering what to do. Your comments would be most appreciated. Thank you Ian.

Q: What do you think of JWEL's latest Fourth Quarter and full year 2018 results - would you buy at these levels. I bought it when it first went public - like the China exposure and the recent partnership with atop pharmacy chain in India - also their quality control is known for being very high as well - was thinking of adding more at these prices.

Q: My wife and I are 66 years old. We each have a TFSA which we are trying to maximize. These would be the last two accounts we would ever take money out of. Our children are the beneficiaries so these are long term accounts - hopefully! We each have RRSPs and share a non-registered account we use for income. We don't have any fixed income but do have enough cash to last us 3 years. No pensions, but are quite diversified in a number of blue chip stocks.

Between the two of us we have PHO, SIS, TOY, BNS, TSGI. None of which has been very good lately but we are patient. We have enough money for two more positions, and think it would be prudent to add two, more stable, names. OTEX, BOYD, GC ? Suggestions?
THANK YOU !
