Q: This week the CEO of CP Rail talked about the need to improve rail safety. Is KLS a company that could benefit from this? Are there any other companies that could be a trickle down play off of Railcar upgrades or safety requirements?

Q: I'm looking at investing in growth stocks in the pharmaceutical/health sector and am looking at two specific stocks, CRH and ACRX.US I appreciate that both are small cap and there is inherent risk in both. Could you please review each of these, provide your thoughts, and which of the two if either you would recommend.

Q: Can I get 5i's updated view on Element Financial? Earnings were released on Wednesday and they seemed to match guidance and street expectations. I also noticed it has been doing quite well over the past few months compared to banks (although bank earnings see to be giving banks some catch up). How do you think EFN will do versus the rest of the financial sector?

Just looking for clarification on these two answers to questions. One says CRH is pricey(Feb.9) and the other says its not(Feb23). What am i missing?

The above represents 13% of my RRIF Equity portfolio. I hold CCT,CPH,CXR,GUD,RX and thinking of nibbling in VRX,CRH,PHM; would you please rank them as if I did not own anything.

These are all so different it is really hard to rank and compare but we would say VRX (for size and stability), PHM (for growth and a decent valuation) and then CRH (due to it looking pricey).

We think CRH is still OK; it is a solid company getting new attention; yet is still only 14 X earnings, so not too pricey at all.

Q: Hi Peter I think you "like" the stock and it seems to have a nice p/e ,decent dividend to allow for growth...you have also mentioned possible large real estate value not fully recognized on books I think. Time to add a small position in a new non-financial/energy/utility company and I am thinking of this one. Without regard to industry as it will be a small holding do you like it better than GH,RPI.UN, CSW.A and WB and if not which one is your favourite of the group and why over ADW.A

Q: I've been in and out on PLI a couple of times. It has been a volatile stock. It has hit new highs lately. I'd like to get back in but I feel it has received a lot of attention now and it might be overpriced at this time. I want back in but feel the price will drop and if I wait it out I'll get a better price. What are your thoughts ?
