Q: My tech holdings have once again climbed to a big part of my portfolio (37%). So it is time to trim/sell some holdings. Can you please rank the above holdings, favorite to least favorite right now. Portfolio allocation recommends 16 %, but i will probably aim for 25-30%. Does that sound reasonable? Tech companies seem to be the ones that are growing the fastest.

Q: Please excuse me, if the question sounds similar to the another member's, recently posted.

Constellation Software stock appears have lost its momentum and continues to struggle move past the $4900-$5000 level, after reaching a high of $5300, a few months ago. The latest results, which are considered solid ( several analysts bumped their price targets ) also seem to have failed to infuse some life in the stock, with a lacklustre price action and stock quickly falling back to its 200 Day MA.

Is CSU stock following the general weakness in software names in US, seen lately?

Also, are there any catalysts. in the near term which could help the shares to break out of its range ?

We have a decent size position 12-15%, in various accounts, with a fairly low cost base and have been waiting to lighten up to 10% ( being quite comfortable with a large weighting ), and raise some cash. Is it worthwhile for stock to regain strength, before we decide to pull the trigger ?

You could address the question, in general. ignoring advice on personal weightings.

Thank you

Q: I know you like this company a lot and it has served me well. It is about 9% of my portfolio and I have been comfortable with it there. As it hasn't done much this last year wondering if I should reduce back to 5-6% and put money into something else. If so what would be your recommendations. (letting it run is also and option)
Thanks for all your solid advice over the years.

Q: Looking at these Canadian tech heavyweights, could you rank what you would buy today for long term hold and why?

Q: I like OTEX as a long-term holding, but am in a loss situation; for tax reasons, it would be worthwhile to realize this loss, and rebuy the security in >30 days. In the meantime, I am thinking of investing the proceeds temporarily in CGI Group (GIBa). I note that today OTEX "popped" by ~10% because of a good earnings report. Here are my questions:
1. Is this a good time to sell OTEX (with plan to rebuy a few weeks from now) or should I wait a bit, since the stock could be in a bit of an uptrend over the next few weeks?
2. Is CGI Group a good proxy for holding the proceeds of OTEX disposition for the next several weeks (or would you suggest another proxy)?
3. In general, what do you think of these two holdings-- CGI Group and OTEX-- as long-term holds? If YOUR portfolio included both companies, would you favor one over the other (i.e., greater weighting within the portfolio), and if so which one (based on long-term prospects and current valuations)?

Q: Can you compare the two companies. One went down and the other went up. I know you like adding to the winner. How would we rate these companies from risk/reward perspective. Are there any other companies in the space which could become the next NBIS.

Q: I saw your last two answers on this question and was curious what your thoughts are today after the dip? I've been waiting to initiate a position but I understand it's not profitable and they missed earnings. Would you be comfortable initiating a small position for potential huge returns in future?

Q: I reviewed the executive commentary for the most recent quarter of AMD and found it somewhat less than inspiring. Nevertheless the stock did OK. Was this just going along on an up market day or were there hidden gems that I missed
I look forward to your valuable insight.
Thanks

Q: Hello
I understand these are speculative plays. Any idea why bmnr is surging daily whereas sbet surges than drops. From my understanding , sbet keeps issuing shares and as a result is not doing as well. I thought issuing shares to buy more ether was the goal.. i would appreciate your comments.

Q: Hello 5i
Can you give me some feedback on Roku's earnings?
What caused the large fall in stock price?
What is your take on ROKU? Is it worth investing in, or should it be avoided.

Thank you

Q: Palantir CEO Alex Karp on Monday characterized his company’s performance using a simple rule that has historically boded well for tech stock returns.

Karp said in a release that the company’s score with the “Rule of 40” was a 94%

Rule of 40 says that the sum of the revenue growth rate and the profit margin should be 40% or higher.

Do you use this?

How can an average investor measure & use it?

Can it be used on all stocks [company's]?

Thank you.

Q: Do you think that AVGO's high valuation is justified by its growth prospects or is it time to get out? Would you switch to QCOM, which is cheap because of the concerns they are about to lose Apple's business, some other stock, or would you hang in with AVGO?
