Q: Would appreciate your comments on their just-released quarter financials. Dividend back over 5% after this day's drop. Payout ratio of about 43%. I am wanting to own residential, but have been put off by the low dividends from most. This one is now looking good to me, but do you see any red flags here? Are there any others you might suggest (but please, with a reasonable dividend!)

Q: Gentlemen: I have held some shares of this in my TFSA for some time but see it has decreased in value since last October. I dont have to sell but wonder if you see any good news on the horizon or would I be better selling and getting something else
Q: Blackstone has put in bid to buy TCN outright for $11.25 US ( approx. $15.00) Canadian. The stock did jump up in price when that bid was made . It now sits around $14.92 Canadian and I'm still in the hole approx. 21 %. Should I sell it now or wait for other potential buyers ? Thanks for any insight.
Q: On your site it says that BTB's dividend growth is -100%, which I presume means that it has been cancelled. Is this correct? I can find no corroborating information.

Q: Hello, I sold ERE.UN recently but I want to keep a toe in the residential sector and was looking at KMP.UN, after reading a favorable report from a broker. The current valuation is interesting, among other points. What is your opinion of this REIT? Should I buy after the earnings release (Feb 14)? Q: St. Joe apparently has tens of thousands of acres of land free and clear, ready for development in NW Florida that are valued at 20,000 an acre but the market value is more like 2,000,000 an acre. Is the stock trading at current levels hugely undervalued or have I missed something. Thanks for your help

They have recently put an NCIB in place. Anything else you might think of. Multiple X cash flow. Any chance of a takeout? How does it compare to MRC and MRT.UN. Thanks, Ben.

Q: I am looking for other canadian residential reits to buy with my funds from selling TCN. I think with interest rates topping out and very possibly declining later this year, reits are a very good, safe place to invest. Can you suggest any other canadian residential reits that have good upside from here and give a decent dividend? I am thinking of ERE as well as HOM. Any comments?
