Q: KRR has issued a revised news release where the company corrected an earlier news release which incorrectly reported second quarter gold sales higher than actually achieved. Gold production was not changed. I don't really have a problem with the sales error even though it would have been better if the error hadn't occurred. The revised news release projects gold production to more than double to 205,000 ounces by 2024 (from 2020 production levels) with costs declining at the same time. How solid do you feel is this 2024 projection or is it promotional?
Sales errors are one thing but future production "hype" is another.
Any thoughts you have would be appreciated.

Q: My wife and I are in our mid-late 70's and only have investments in RRIFs.

We don't have any stocks in the materials sector and I would like to add something that has either solid growth potential or pays a dividend to add a bit more balance. I once invested in gold (BTO) and didn't do well, so I'm not particularly interested in that unless it meets the criteria above.

I am, however open to all suggestions. I have 6% space to allocate to your recommendations, so please advise accordingly.

Q: I am interested in investing in gold. Please advise if this is a good time to put money into this and if so, which company do you think has the most potential. As well please advise which companies to stay away from at this time.
Thank you for your great service

Q: Precious metals having a good day today, assuming its mainly because of the hot inflation numbers coming out. Do you see these stocks having more room to run? I own the above. Can you rank the above stocks in terms of the inflationary environment and which have the best growth and potential. Which sectors would do the best? Also I'm low in energy, would that sector do well if inflation persists or is it mainly driven by energy prices? Do you still see inflation as transitory or more persistent? Thanks!

Q: Since LAC has invested 6 million into Arena (AN). What is your take on this exploration company. I think it must have good prospects as both LAC and Gangfeng Lithium have invested in it. The number of shares has also probably risen. So how much risk is there in buying this company?

Thank you

Steve

Q: I find inside buying is potentially worthwhile evidence of future prospects of a company. Just a hunch, but I am not sure inside buying or selling can tell me much about gold companies, especially not with the more established companies. Gold does seem quite out of favour, and so I think it would be worthwhile to park some of my idle cash (I am 25% cash, because I just am not finding too many bargains) in one or two large cap and small cap companies: The chart and divy of Yamana looks intriguing. Can you suggest any up and coming junior miners?

Q: Good afternoon,

Could you please pass along on how best to take advantage of rising copper prices both using an equity( s) and etf.
Same question as it applies to the semi conductor space.
Please feel free to deduct 2 credits as I have posed 2 questions.

Thank you,
Brad

thank you.

Q: I have about 4% of my portfolio in MNT, ABX, and K, all bought a year ago and 20-25% under water. I am having trouble deciding if I should cut my losses, put them towards better gold stocks like AEM, or get rid of my gold exposure completely. If you're in my position, what would you do? What is your outlook for gold in the next few years? Are there any catalysts for gold as a sector you can foresee? I have a hard time envisioning them doing well when the economy is growing so nicely
Or is it good to keep as a hedge against the down days like today? The rest of my portfolio is diversified enough tending towards the growthy stocks, if that matters.

Thanks for your insight.

Q: The acquisition has really depressed the stock price and it has yet to recover. What is your outlook for FVI going forward? How does its valuation compare to its peers? Should the shares also re-rate due to its increased size and growth prospects?
