Q: Your report on this company highlighted U.S. softwood lumber duties as a major risk. But I believe that the Dept of Commerce exempted lumber from this company's territory. Does this change the rating for ADN ?

Does the increase in U.S. employment mean that there will be more demand for lumber for housing and therefore more business for ADN ?

Q: Hello 5i, firstly let me echo other comments about how nice it is to have an experienced voice of reason on our side during these turbulent times. Thank you!!
I'm considering selling AVO now to free up some cash to buy a few beaten down names. My question is...if the offer for AVO was increased would it likely to be 5-10% or maybe more?
I know this is pure speculation but I am interested in your opinion.
Thank you
Dave

Q: As a loyal Albertan and patron of their retail outlets, I have held a position in LIQ for six years. I now read (FP) that ACB is initially purchasing 20% of LIQ (103.5MM) through private investment and may purchase an additional 20% of the company later. Apparently LIQ plans to convert some of its existing LIQ outlets and open new locations -- all of which will launch as a new brand of cannabis retail stores. Your comments appreciated. Thanks.

Q: I note you think the offer for AVO is modest but the text I have suggests the deal has been done. So is this the case or is there the potential for another higher offer? I also note that the volume of shares sold so far is quite light which might indicate most people think there could be another offer or that the price is low?
