Q: Copper seems like it's going to be in high demand. There's also tariff possibilities. If you had a choice to invest in copper today with a 2-3 year horizon, would you do it? Any suggestions on growth companies? Thanks.

Q: Hi. I recently transferred $20,000 into my RRSP Direct Investing account. I would like to invest the money into some quality ETFs, perhaps three or four. I know you are not clairvoyants, however based on geo-politics and recent tariff threats, which ETFs (either Canadian, American or other parts of the world) would you invest in at this particular time. It would be for a 2/3 year hold. Thanks for the advice in advance.

Q: Your thoughts on GUD going forward in light of:

07:20 AM EDT, 03/24/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Knight Therapeutics (GUD.TO) overnight Sunday said G252 Capital has disposed of 2.5 million of its shares at $6.30 each, and no longer holds over 10% of Knight's outstanding shares.

G2S2 now owns 7.54 million Knight shares, for a 7.6% stake.

Does this limit upside of the stock price?

Q: I currently have about half my investments in US dollar (unhedged) assets. I would appreciate your view about the US-Canada dollar? Do you continue to see the Canadian dollar decreasing in value to the US dollar? Do you see the US dollar as having peaked, and trending lower versus the Canadian dollar, and versus the DXY?

I have been very surprised to see how strong the Canadian dollar has been recently given the tariff questions, and the fact the Bank of Canada has been decreasing interest rates more than the Fed.

Q: Planning on setting up an income portfolio of dividend growing equities. Would the above stocks meet this objective. Already own BAM, BNS, CNQ, DIR.UN, ENB, FRU, FTS, IFC, PEY, POW, SLFm TRP and WCP. Are there other equities other than the above list that you would recommend substituting for one or more of them? Q:

BCE is trending down, ex-dividend. If YOU would cut the dividend, would you wait for next earning release in May, or sooner? What would be the probability the stock stays flat, instead of up or down when/if the dividend is cut?

Is Rogers a better bet at the moment or just a hold (I just sold it for tax loss) ?

Q: I own BN with no intention of selling, but I find the dividends of the other Brookfield's interesting for my RRSP account with the potential of some capital growth as well. I know this type of question has been asked in the past, but not since the market downturn. Would you see a benefit of owning any of the others along with BN, and if so, which ones, and what would your total percentage of Brookfield holdings be. Thanks!
