Q: Good Afternoon
I am getting ready to take some capital losses as gains offsets. I will not need to realize all of the above; but in what order should I use them and if I sell would you buy any of them back? The $ losses are about equal in all cases.
I recently added a full position in GC following suit with the BE Model Portfolio. With the news breaking today regarding BC Casinos, do you still consider GC a buy or is it now a hold/sell based on the headline risks?
What is your opinion on Trevali? I purchased it recently .
Hoping to get perhaps $2.00 a share out of it before exiting. I've never had great success with the miners.
Does the article below have any effect on the outlook of GC?

Q: Hi All,
Just a comment about DR.
Your comment today on DR says that insider buying is only 1%. However, the doctors own approx. 45% of the company and DR equity holders 55%. We have owned DR in 3 portfolios since 2006 and are verrry pleased with it's eligible dividends and steady growth, eventhough it can be quite volatile at times.

Q: Can you comment on CRH's comments regarding their outlook for Q3. Seems to be some negative data around a decrease in cases and impacts from Hurricane Irma. They threw in an acquisition to cushion the impact. Down 3%. What are your thoughts around this news?
Q: PBH is a consistent top recommendation from the balanced portfolio. But are there risks from Amazon as they are also getting into the food business?
Most of the other food manufacturers and retailers have been negatively affected by the Amazon threat, but PBH so far has not. Could this change?
Q: Hello- apparently Clearwater has lost their monopoly on the Arctic clam business, after investing 140 million in processing capability (National Post). What effect will this have on their profits? I was thinking of a purchase but the company is already somewhat expensive.
Thanks for your opinion.
Q: Hi I have held this stock for about three years so am up about 20%. I understand this type of company is often valued based on net asset valu or book value. . If that is the case it is very undervalued. Is this the case of a great company but just an ok stock? Should I continue to own(sector allocation is not an issue).and if not anything else in the sector you prefer?. Thank you. Bill
