Q: Amaya seems to be at its range ceiling. I'm thinking of selling for a 17% profit and buying Csu. Thoughts?

Q: Good Morning, Can you please provide your advice regarding Verizon, VZ based on their recent acquisitions and company relative strength in this sector. Do you like this company and recommend it as a LT hold. Thank you. Linda
Q: I understand that Fission investors think that Denison's offer (1.26 DML shares 1 for FCU share) is mingy, but why are both companies' share prices declining? That is, shouldn't Denison be perceived as the smart operator, getting superior assets for cheap? (I'm guessing that Fission's poor price reflects market pessimism as concerns competing offers.)
Q: Please share your considerations and expectations for this company, thanks.
Q: Hello,
I have a question that pops form time to time and I feel bad for asking it again, but in the last few months I was always on the wrong side of a trade.
From the growth portfolio (GP)(I was not able to get in when it was announced) and by the time I got to it things have gone up. I ended buying WIN and GUD (and down on both as we speak).
As you see it now (both markets and companies) which ones from the GP you would recommend or any other company for that matter.
Thanks
M

Q: Hi guys,
I am looking at buying names from your growth portfolio. I prefer more stable revenue/earnings/guidance as opposed to "surprises". Have any recommendations?
Also, a quick thought on dollarama or gildan, I was looking to buy either for some time on a pull back, but I might just buy some now for exposure.
Thank you

Q: I hold CNQ, have lost 24%and want to replace it with a faster recovering energy stock. Is Tourmaline a better choice or do you have any other suggestion?
I have also lost on PHM and it does not seem to recover. I also understand it is over valued. What is your suggestion, should I buy one of your newly valued health/ medical equipment stocks?

Q: What metric would you use to value the company at this early stage? is 3x loan book a fair way to value it(35Mx3=105M)? How does 3x compare to its peers? Thank you.
Q: Hi
Could you please tell me how you feel about Corus?
Do you think the dividend is safe? North of 7% today.
I have a half position. Would you add or just hold for now?
Thanks

Q: Since May, Catamaran's stock price has gone up considerably, despite that it has agreed to be acquired (by United Health) at a set USD value. So is its CAD price fluctuation a trivial effect of the USD::CAD exchange rate, or are there still non-currency-arbitrage reasons to invest in CCT?
Q: Your thoughts re: ARC. Its trading near the 52 week low. Dividend safe? I also own ERF and BNP. Which of these 3 do you like best if I were to consolidate into one name. Thanks
Q: I would appreciate your opinion on the retirement of Mr.Webb as well as your assessment of their assets under management and their performance fees.Thank you, Don.
Q: Hi guys, Michael Dalsin just launched (yet again) a new company today on the tsx venture: Inspira which targets small healthcare providers throughout the United States by offering revolving lines of credit (“RLOC”) and loans.
What is your view on it and isn't he getting a bit stretch with all his ventures: PHM, Convalo and now Inspira?
Thanks

Q: Would you please comment on TCM.I was thinking of taking a small speculative position and waiting for a recovery in this sector.
Q: Good morning, Can you please provide an update on this company based on recent activist position, and the companies relative strength in this sector. Would you recommend Extendicare for a Lt hold. Thank you. Linda
Q: The ceo has been talking about a possible complementary acquisition to help fund their growth. What public company do you think could be of interest to them or would they look at a private company? Are cvd and mda and bos in the same space? I own Heroux and was wondering if Airbos of America is in the same space. Thanks.
Q: I want to be in cash and prefer being in USD. I vaguely remember that in one of 5i's portfolios held DLR. DLR has pretty low daily volumes and it also has a high management fee as well (0.45%) for just holding cash. Do you know of any other investment vehicle to park my CDN cash in USD without actually making a FX exchange?
Q: With an apparent agreement with Iran in place on nuclear weapons and the lifting of trade sanctions, it would seem that Iranian oil will soon be finding its way onto world markets. With a glut of oil already and the world economy seemingly stalling, why is this news being met with an increase in the value of oil stocks on the TSX? Isn't this bad news for oil producers?
Thanks for the insight.

Q: I own and am down about 30% on Cenovus. The yield is creeping up, leading me to believe that the market is pricing in an eventual cut. Am I better off trading out of this name into another oil and gas play? Which would you reccommend? This is a long term investment and about 3% of total portfolio. It is owned in a registered account, so there would be not tax consequences or advantages. Thanks.
Q: This is the old France Telecom. What's you take on this company?
