Q: Hi,
Thanks always for your advice, it's been very helpful.
Part of my investing strategy is to hold company shares (where possible) in AST or Computershare so I can use the dripping programs for the tax break. I am down drastically with CJR.B - should I sell and move on? Also, I hold ENB, NTR and PPL all of which have suspended their drip programs. Are they worth holding, so I can do something with the cash dividends or should I move on from them. All of my moving on would be to purchase other companies that drip.

Q: Yesterday on Market Call Tonight Ross Healy basically panned McDonalds, as far too expensive, saying not only would he not recommend it as an investment, but he wouldn't even recommend it for gamblers, that it could damage your portfolio. I'm a little confused. McDonald's strikes me as a low beta stock which is reasonably conservative and doing well. It doesn't appear to me to be hugely overpriced or a risky investment. What is your take?

Would you kindly comment on the earnings for Toromont on Monday? Any reason Toromont is not in your portfolios? It seems that in this case and others like even Apple the markets are punishing stocks for missing on any front even though the earnings per share is a beat. WSP - 2018 eps = $3.11; 2019 eps = $3.79; 22% eps growth
PBH - 2018 eps = $4.08; 2019 eps = $5.34; 31% eps growth
PKI - 2018 eps = $1.56; 2019 eps = $2.69; 72% eps growth
KXS - 2018 eps = $0.99; 2019 eps = $1.34; 34% eps growth

Q: The market seemingly loved the results at the open, but then ended the day down 6.5% on what appears to be significant volume. It looked like the contract extension addressed the important parts of the short report, but apparently not, given its performance today.

I am looking for a diversified industrial company that I can hold for a two year minimum.
