Q: Good morning 5i
Many years ago I owned shares in Nvidia and Netflix and sold way to early, I think now is a similar entry point into the marijuana market which is already global if not legal. What would you think is the company with the most potential to expand into the States and perhaps Global, Aphria or Canopy Growth or do you have other companies that are on your radar that would be worth looking at for the longer term.
Best Regards,
Tom

Q: Hi Peter, I would like to enter the Marijuana market and in Nov. you said it would be best to get in with an ETF or the top three operators, WEED, ACB and APH. Which would be the best buy to get in now under the circumstances at the present time. Thanks, Nick

Q: Sitting out the weed stock ride is getting expensive and I am looking for a way to get involved with something that has some tangible reason to believe. Some stocks just seem to bounce up and down based on different sides speculating on the same news story. Are there three stocks you could recommend that are not a complete turkey shoot? What do you like about them?

Q: Based on the current financials of this company:
1) Is the companies stock pricing par, undervalued or overvalued?
2) What do forecast the stock price to be in the coming months?
3) Is this a valid investment in your opinion or do you see it to risky and volatile?

I am not expecting a long drawn out answer and will not be holding you accountable to your opinion. Just curious on your take. Thank you for your time.

Q: Thanks for the update on why weed is going up today based on the announcement in California. Why is this affecting Canadian stocks? Also, are there names in US that one can speculate on that are like weed and APH in Canada? Gas stocks in Canada seem to be tied to oil price. Lately, oil is going up but BIR and TOU hardly move. I am almost to the point of throwing in the towel for Canadian names given the political climate in Canada with regards to energy and pipelines. Any comments? Thanks again.

Q: Hi Peter,
Any idea why Covalon is not trading today based on yahoo and google stock listings? Also, is there a specific reason for Canopy to be surging so high today as I have not seen any new news release to account for such a spike? Thanks and again appreciate the input.

Q: Would you comment on the risk versus reward if one were to make a small investment in this company ? Do you have an alternate suggestion for a speculative investment in an innovative technology company with momentum or popular timing ?

Q: Morning,

Your thoughts on whether legalized cannibas sales will eat into other discretionary revenue streams such as beer and wine? Does the overall revenue pie get bigger or does the liquor industry lose out or a bit of both?

Q: My mother has recently been invited by a friend she trusts to buy into a local privately traded Marijuana Grow Op Company, which comes with a 30-40% tax credit through CEDF. I have concerns about whether she'd be able to sell whenever she likes, not to mention the (apparently) high-ish risk. But I wanted to check with you: Are there any circumstances under which such a move would be advisable? And if not, would you advise buying into a publicly traded marijuana company at this moment, and if so which one? WEED? I might add that it is also quite hilarious, from the perspective of my former teenage self, to find myself in a position of advising my mother on investing in WEED.
