Q: Good afternoon, 5i, do you still think this ETF is fine for diversified exposure to tech? Is there an unhedged version?

Q: Could I have your thoughts on this Oil/Gas...mainly gas company. I have been following this company for a while now. They seem to have just hit a great well. Mid to longer term contracts are being signed on a fairly quick pace. My issues are with the promoters and members of the company. Do you have any insight. I remember another company that had promoters like this and was starting a pipeline...delays..cost overruns ..bought up other properties while ballooning the debt and being sold for pennies. MMT. Q: Hi 5i, I would like to add a new position to my granddaughters' trust accts ( 2).

They currently hold:

REIT ( KMP and AX.un)
Bank ( BNS and RY )
Insurer ( SLF and MFC)
Pipeline ( PPL and IPL )
Oil ( ARX and VET)
Utility ( BEP.un and NPI)

Could I get your top 2 suggestions in the following sectors:
tech
telecom
consumer staples
consumer discretionary .

Timeline would be 5 to 7 years.

Q: just did a deal with suimitomo for $1 billion for a 13 %interest in a US copper mine.(morenci).
according to the talking heads this deal values copper at a minimum $3 per pound and has moved FCX stock nicely.
my question is with FM. this announcement seems to have moved the stock.would a small position be advisable 1 or 2% As I have learned these stocks move quickly in both directions.If you believe the sky is not falling ,there should be a bid for copper as this deal indicates.

Q: Good morning,
With interest rates currently at very low levels with no sign of going up in a significant manner anytime soon, does a preferred share type ETF or actively managed fund holding mostly reset type preferred have a place in most portfolios. If so, what are your thoughts on PIC.PR.D at this time and can you recommend something else that would be more preferable in this asset class? Thank you
