Q: Could you please rank these holdings - in terms of a hold...If i wanted to raise some cash, which would you sell first in order?
Q: I hold some gold gold ETFs/producers and Blackberry with unrealized losses in a cash account. I was thinking to contribute these in kind to my and my wife's TFSAs. I will have capital gains in the cash account to offset.
What are your thoughts on this?
Thank you.

Q: Greetings.
I am planning on early retiring next year at 55. I am looking to transition my portfolio form balanced/growth to income. It would seem that although timing the market is not a predictable strategy, it would seem to me that this is probably the perfect time to transition my portfolio given the weaknesses in the utilities, telecom, pipes etc.
I have cash saved for my first 2 years of retirement to avoid being forced to withdraw funds at a 'inopportune time'. However, i also know my portfolio may need to last a number of years prior to being able to claim cpp, oas and social security (spouse of american citizen collecting social security). Would you recommend transitioning now or do i risk too much growth in the next while? Your thoughts/recommendations are always appreciated.
Cheers

Q: We have major positions in TRP and PPL in our joint and two TFSAs and both stocks have fallen substantially in the past few days. Hold, sell, or add to the positions? Cheers, Edward
Q: TD Waterhouse said, they did not have any US Treasury Bills in their inventory. Therefore, I could not buy any US Treasury Bills. Is this right and where can you go to buy? TD does have TD Ameritrade in the US, why would they not have US Treasury Bills there?
Q: Can you give me the actual share count of short interest in Kinaxis? For both the US and Cdn exchanges.

Q: HI 5iResearch team,
Can you please advise re: US utilities? I believe Stephen Jarislowsky's view that the US $ will increase relative to Can $ in near term, so have converted some US$ to Cdn$ recently with plan to repurchase at better exchange. He recommended US utilities for a longer term hold. Do you concur and if so, what would you buy?
Thank you, Linda

Q: In following your recent responses you seem quite comfortable with AVO and its momentum combined with its risk/return factor. Using that as your base measurement could you list 3 more that you would feel have the same or more momentum and you feel the same level of return/risk confidence. These would fit into my Tfsa

Q: Following up on a question from Greg Jan 24/18 do you have any information regarding how both ETF's compare. I understand that BLCN has many more stocks while BLOK is concentrated on fewer stocks.Fees tend to be the same or almost the same. I realize both funds are very new ,just launched last week and would be speculative but any investment would be a very minor part of my portfolio. Thanks for any guidance. Too early to invest?Paul
