Q: I hold TD-T in a TFSA with a loss of about 10%. I have read you comment that TD-T is now a hold. But I keep wondering if I should switch to RY-T and expect to make up the loss over time......keen to hear your take.....Tom
Q: What is happening with BBUC. I thought it was supposed to be one of my steady stocks, but it has been a dog. Is it time to pull the plug and move on?

Q: Why has BNS dropped in price over $2.00 in the last week?
Q: Your take on the insider purchase?
Should be a good thing.

Q: I bought BX pre-pandemic and held on , thinking that its significant investments in real estate would bottom and share price would again climb. That didn’t happen. I have been trimming my holding in BX but still hold a half-position. I stopped reducing, now again thinking that perhaps long-duration assets owned by BX would become more valuable. Do you think this is true? Or, do you think an investor is much better off to deploy cash into KKR or some other private equity? (US companies only).
Kindly give your insightful reasons, skipping the obvious please.
Thank you! :ao:

Q: I am considering starting a position in First National Financial Corp., Canada. It is dealing with mortgage financing with a healthy yield around 6%. Information that I have found indicates 70% ownership by principal owners so that liquidity may not be great. Is this company worth adding to an income focused portfolio? My other financials are Canadian banks, BN, BAM, AD,UN
Q: Sofi appears to be stagnant and going no where. Is it time to move on.

Q: Last year in answer to a question you ranked these companies (among others) in this space in this order CME, MSCI, SPGI. Guests on BNN recently had MSCI and SPGI as top picks. Just interested in your latest thoughts on these three please. Thank you.
Q: Have been considering a purchase of Intact Financial for exposure to insurance sector. But already own BRK.B , which I tend to think of in terms of its portfolio of holdings , but has at its core their insurance business .
Different animals , I guess , but how would you think about this ?
All other considerations aside , would you add to BRK.B or initiate a position in IFC ?

Q: With their US acquisition all but effectively locked (only Canadian regulator to go), is this a good buy? For small cap growth over the next year or two?
Q: Hi. Could you please provide me with Visa's 1,3 and 5 year estimates for eps and revenue growth? Given its present price, would you be a buyer of it for a long-term hold? If not, what would you consider a 'good' price for purchase?
Q: Good morning,
If one wanted to have a 1-2% portfolio weight in US private equity, what one PE firm would you recommend? KKR? BX?
Thanks very much.

Q: My question is about CreditRiskMonitor (CMRZ) they are solvent from what I can gather but their main competitor Dun & Bradstreet Holdings (DNB) is not, what can you tell me about CMRZ besides it is tightly/majority held by the Flum family?
Q: Just curious. Would you know why GSY's SP popped by over $6 today? Albeit the trade volume is just 50K not particularly large.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Q: Would ONEX be considered a sort-of private equity type investment that long term could be used as portfolio diversifier? Thanks Ron
