Q: For the last 10 years, SLF has been the better stock to own. Since December 2023, MFC has been better. In their most recent earnings MFC beat and SLF missed. MFC's PE is a little higher, dividends are about the same, SLF has better ROE, MFC has a much better profit margin. If buying one of them today, which do you think is better going forward? Or with the chance interest rates will be coming down in the next year would it be better to buy a bank instead?

Q: Good Morning,
Knowing that you like both Intact and Sunlife, can you please give me your opinion on which insurance company might provide a better total return over the next 5 years? Sunlife is much cheaper and has a good dividend, but if interest rates drop (in Canada at least), how might this impact both businesses?
Thanks.
Brad

Q: In what way will the lowering of interest rates affect insurance companies such as SLF:CA and the Canadian banks?
Q: With regard to the current fiasco, would you expect any heads to get nicked, especially at the top, for having this happen on their watch? The amounts of money alleged to have been washed is incredible. Or am I guilty of armchair quarterbacking?
Q: With the recent market drop in this stock on the news of the US fine and the possibility of future fines (several if I remember their news announcement correctly) and with the time frame that it seems to make these decisions do you still have faith in this stock going forward or is there still more downside than upside this stock going forward.
Q: The US Regulator, talk is fine would be in the area of 1.5 billion to 2 billion.Wow will we the customers end up paying there bill for bad magement decisions. Probably I will be looking at the other banks to see what fee's are for transfer of accounts. I have been a customer at TD for a very long time, would they hold money back on transfers. I have 5 different account with TD and all are positive money
Q: At what price would it seem to be a strong buy?
