Q: Hi All at 5i! I had purchased GC and TSGI for my kids TFSAs. Now with all the reports of money laundering, where are these stocks headed and would I be better off selling them and investing in LSPD’s potential instead? Thanks, Tamara

Q: Hello I am wondering what has been moving this stock lately I cannot find anything? What your thoughts are on this company future growth? New Canadian tech darling? I look at this company as a cross between Square and Shopify, would that be an accurate comparison in your opinion ? When do they report their first Q? Take as many credits as needed. Thanks as always

Q: Hi, several analysts started coverage of Lightspeed, yesterday with most price targets in the range of $25-$26 and Buy/Outperform ratings. Thank you for your analysis, in advance, during past 3 weeks. I have taken a small 1% position. The 1st set of earnings is not expected until May. Do you feel comfortable to build up the holding to 2% at current price, or it's prudent to wait until results ? Thanks

Q: I was going to use the proceeds of the sale on KWH.UN and purchase SBC. (Brompton Split Banc).
Is SBC more risky than KWH? How would you rate SBC? Is
now a time to buy into LSPD as it seems to have settled down after the IPO?

Q: Hello,

Lyft and Uber will be going public soon, would you recommend purchasing shares after the IPO? Growth has been great for both companies but obviously they are losing a lot of money as they grow.

What is the general strategy for IPOs ie. Lightspeed POS? Should you typically wait for first qtr results before you buy? I considered stocks like FB, MongoDB and could have done quite well. Also I believe that employees have to hold shares for at least 6 mths (not sure of exact timeframe) before they sell so wondering if that would have an impact when insiders with a considerable number of shares are allowed to sell.

Thanks,
Neeraj

Q: What do you think of this company - just recently IPO'd. in Canada. Don't normally jump right in after an IPO - usually wait until it settles down - worked well for me on Shopify - I know these companies start trading on "potential" and not on "fundamentals" but just would like your opinion - you have given me a lot of good ideas over the years and I know that no one has a crystal ball but appreciate your expertise on smaller cap companies.

Q: Hi,
I'm currently holding SHOP with a large gain and the position is close to 10% of my portfolio. What do you think about trimming that position and investing some of the profits into LSPD currently? Would you wait a quarter first before buying LSPD or average into the position over the next year? Also these two companies operate fairly similar, what are the main differences?

Thank you!

Q: Good morning. I was wanting to put lightspeed on a Watchlist to track for a while. I was reading the articles in the Financial Post and the Globe and no ticker symbol anywhere to be found. I tried the Globe's Barchart look up...nothing there. So I go to 5i to ask my question and the ticker sticker pops up automatically. Thanks for being ahead of the curve for the little guy retail investors . So when this settles down can you guesstimate a reasonable entry point and a % weighting? Thanks david
