Q: I’m considering selling these 3 for tax loss purposes. Do you see any redeeming qualities in any of them that would suggest I hold?

Q: Hello,
I already have a full position(5%) on CSU but I used to hold Engh and Amaya earlier. The latter two have done well after being removed from the portfolio. I dont hold any of Engh or TSGI. I am torn between adding to my position on CSU due to the high confidence or to Amaya or ENGH? Sorry for this difficult question. Thanks. Regards, Shyam

Q: Looking for a US stock with a good dividend. I'm 80 so a little volatility is okay. I'm willing to hold for 3 years. If you had to pick one of the three which one and why or do you have a better choice?

Q: I have recently inherited a portfolio of stocks heavily weighted towards the Canadian banks (RY, BNS, TD, BMO, NA, CM). About 30% of the portfolio is made up of these six banks and I am uncomfortable with the lack of diversity and high correlation.

Which two or three banks do you feel are the least attractive and therefore the best sell candidates?

Q: Hello team,

A quick question regarding tax losses: I sell a stock at a gain and then buy the same stock say the next day. At the end of the year, I pay taxes on the gain. Then I sell the same stock in the next year at a loss. Can I claim a tax loss on the stock? I am not sure if there would be a problem with the 30 day rule in this case, right?
