Q: Long term owners of Canadian Utilities and would appreciate an opinion of it going forward with the carbon tax and a no coal future. Our shares have more than doubled in price (taxable account) and it has been good up to now if this effects your opinion. THANKS AS ALWAYS

Q: I appreciate that the key driver for Potash stock performance is pricing. Having said that, Potash owns ~ 1/3 of Sociedad Quimica Y Minera in Chile. In addition to potash, SQM produces lithium, described by some as the "gasoline of the future" for its use in making batteries. Does 5i feel SQM's lithium potential is under-represented in Potash's stock price, or is it insignificant in the total picture for the company?

Q: When you stated that people are moving out of dividend paying and into growth stocks do you think this is short term investments?I am a long term dividend investor.Should I follow the crowd?
Q: Your thoughts on recent Investor Day conference with PLI that they have 12 mos of cash and do you think this selling off of the stock is not just a retracement but due to shareholder dilution that a stock offering by PLI is probable. Is this correction and over reaction. I am I missing something such as the market expected more out of the company in this conference and not getting it, caused the sell off. Thank you

Q: I would like to add these companies to my portfolio.
They seem expensive, but I assume over the long term you are good with any of them at these levels.
In what order would add these. Is one of them better value at this point?
I have some tiny positions in XTC, BB, BOS, and was planning on selling these. I also have a 1% position in DHX. Should I just get rid of these tiny positions and consolidate into one or two of the names above.
Cheers.

Q: I am a retired, conservative, dividend-income investor. I am looking to top up my industrial holdings. I own WSP, which I could add a bit more of. I am looking for another industrial company that pays a dividend > 2.5%...tough to find one.
What are your current thoughts on the etf ZIN-T? What do you think of the holdings and their participation in the current updraft, due to the anticipated spending on infrastructure?
A 2nd option is TFI, but it has had such a jump?
Do you have any other suggestions for a dividend-paying industrial for me to consider?
Thanks, Steve

Q: Good Morning Peter, Ryan, and Team,
I hold DH Corp in an income oriented account which closely tracks the 5i Income Portfolio. Now that the dust is just starting to settle on this name, after the dividend cut, would you recommend buying more, holding what I have, or selling it ??? Thank you for your sage advise. DL

Q: I picked up some AC in the spring with the intention to hold into the new year. The stock and the sector seem to be on a roll at the moment and really started to lift when Buffet bought into the sector. Buffet is anything but fly by night so I am thinking of holding a little longer. What is the street calling for on Air Canada? Could you give me some price targets? Could you also comment on the Buffet purchase and what it is that he might be seeing?
Q: I currently hold full positions in GIB, Engh and KXS and a 1/2 position in SYZ and am looking to add another 1/2 position. I can't decide between topping up SYZ, adding a new 1/2 position in CSU or selling SYZ and go with a full position in CSU. Part of me would like to stay more concentrated (I am very comfortable with the 3 full holdings) but I guess at the end of the day, I am wondering if the hoped for outperformance of SYZ outweighs the very solid expected growth of CSU. While I like the added benefit the SYZ dividend provides, I do not currently need the income.
I am interested in your opinion as to my options. Appreciate the insight.
