Q: This is more a request than a question.
What I would like to know, especially for companies that are carrying high debt levels, is how much debt is maturing each year for the next 15 to 30 years. I don't know what time frame would be reasonable but the longer the better.

Q: I have about a 3% position in HR.UN and a 4% position in SRU.UN. Both pay a good dividend but I'm down about 9% in both. Perhaps I should switch to a residential or industrial Reit for more growth potential. Any suggestions?

Q: I understand the logic of "getting paid while you wait" but in this particular instance, what am I waiting for? I am now off 30%. Do you actually see this one recovering or is negative momentum going to take it down.

Q: Hello 5i,

BNS vs TD.
Am considering a switch from BNS to TD for a long term hold in my RRIF.
However, have noticed YTD that BNS is down 8.8% while TD is up 3.3%.
What are your thoughts going forward ?

I refer to Stuart's question concerning PLC.

When Arbour Memorial went private, I made very good money.

PLC was the only opinion available in Canada so in April 2015 I first purchased at $12.90, then at $13,.9 in 2016 and 2017 at $18.98 .

One of my kids is in the funeral business and speaks very highly of what they are doing.

Q: I am interested in purchasing 1 or more of these 4 active Vanguard, ETF's. Can you point me to some good articles and research which would help me determine the %allocation and in which market cycles one product may be most suited. I was thinking of allocating approx. 100K to a combination of these 4. In your opinion can you rank these from 1 to 4 where 1 is the product you think is the overall best.

Q: Crown has announced a new LP "Capital Power LP". They have partnered (their first) with OOM Energy Group (“OOM”), a private electricity generation company who produce Integrated Energy Platforms they claim are more reliable and efficient, and cost effective than certain areas such as Ontario Hydro(not surprising). This will "provide investors with attractive, utility-like income". It all sounds good but I am worried about the competitiveness of such a partnership. Would you have any thoughts on this development?

Q: Hi Peter/Ryan
I owned Park Lawn for about a year and did quite well on it before selling. Interested in getting back into it. One reason I got out was bad memories of the Loewen ( https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raymond_Loewen ) group which I am sure you remember. I assume Park Lawn is more conservative with dept? Obviously Service Corporation is much bigger but in terms of valuation how do they compare?
