Q: Ref : Patrick question on Monday:
“Do you have any thoughts on CUBE? I don’t have a lot of REIT exposure in my portfolio (just a small position in DIR.UN and some ARE at a large loss).”

Since ARE:CA has been a great performer in the last 5 years, I believe he is referring to ARE:US for real estate.

Q: Covid created the Virtual Office with many businesses opting to work from home using Zoom, Google Meet and MS Teams to name a few virtual meeting suppliers. Is there a potential looming on the horizon that office space will have a high vacancy rates and create pressure on REIT's that carry these empty spaces down the road?

I know you've said that in general REITs are best held in a TFSA, but are there any exceptions to that guideline among them.

I hold these 4 Canadian REITs (TCN, WIR.U, DIR.UN, SMU.UN) and am interested in several US REITS. I've been considering AMT, CCI, EQIX, DLR. Can you comment on these and suggest a few others.
