Q: Could I please have a few of your top Smart Beta ETFs recommendations. I was hoping to get a few ETF ideas that cover USA, global and international only. A few that trade on the TSX and in the USA would be great. Thanks

Q: Are there ETF's out there that employ both Active and Passive investing under one roof, or do I have to buy one active and one passive to create my allocation to both strategies ?

Q: This momentum ETF, with a 5-star ranking (Morningstar), seems to provide a good selection of US stocks, with an excellent rate of return. Would you agree?
Is there a similar ETF structure for the Cdn market?
Thank you, Team!

Q: Hi 5i,
In Jan 2018, I added mtum to my mom’s tfsa as her us $ holding. It would represent the most risky part of her holdings in the Tfsa
Since then, I have read that momentum stocks/strategies do not do well in a bear market. Is there any truth to that claim? With a pb over 4 and a pe over 26 should I stay the course, or purchase 2 or 3 value stocks in her account with that us $?. If the latter, any suggestions?
Many thanks,

Q: I have virtually no direct exposure to the US market at the moment and wish to rectify that. My risk tolerance is moderate with a minimum hold of 5+ years.
I am considering adding IWO and MTUM to my RRSP plus 2 or 3 other stocks for diversified exposure. What are your thoughts with this strategy and can you provide a couple stock suggestions, your reasoning behind them, and perhaps how best to allocate the funds?
Thanks for the great service.

Q: I am having a hard time deciding if I should add to my financials with individual stocks or buy an ETF. XLF and MTUM have holdings that I already own and am ok with adding to these via the ETF and they also hold BAC and JPM which I do not own. Can you please give me your opinion. Sectors and weightings are fine. Thank you.
