Q: SSL - Sandstorm Gold. This stock dropped almost 7% this morning and is well off its highs. Would this be a buying opportunity to average out my holdings - or would it be more like catching a falling knife?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Q: hello 5i:
more a comment than a question. I noted today, as I do most days, that people are concerned when a certain stock drops, mostly by an insignificant amount. Yesterday, it was CSU (thank God, we were finally able to buy some!!!), but my comment is more directed at knee jerk reactions by people. This site has stated openly and often that they are not day-traders and thats why so many of us are attracted here (the returns, answers to questions, company analysis etc are important as well), so why are people asking about changes that even most swing traders don't worry about? I would encourage you to confront this issue, only so that it does not get out of hand; for us your subscribers and for your general sanity. Possibly more of these people should have the majority of their investments in GICs? Do you see a way out of this?
You may use any part or all of this if you wish to make a statement to the general membership as I'm sure most will agree with me.
Lastly: is there some way you can inform readers that material changes to company evaluations WILL be transmitted, in a timely manner, to subscribers?
thanks
Paul

Q: Hi guys, any information on KWH.UN, Crius Energy Trust.
Q: Hi Peter & 5i: Further to Heather's question about bond and debentures listings, I have found this to be a useful starting place: http://www.financialpost.com/markets/data/bonds-debentures.html You can play with the "select your market" drop-down menu to check out the other categories. Some of the basic info is there in table form and then when you go to Sedar for the other details it helps if you know exactly which security you are looking for. I have one question though: can you explain the "Parity" column for me. Thanks
Q: Hi Peter, had a question regarding MUX. I have a small exposure to gold via MUX, and the shares has dropped 30% the last few weeks. Do you think its a good time to increase the position while averaging my cost basis? Thanks for all your hard work.
Q: Hello, would you know if Churchill (CUQ) contract termination notice with the U of Manitoba (Tache Hall) is material ? In your opinion, is it a good time to add ? Thank you.
Q: Hi Peter could you give me your comment on CUQ thanks!
Q: Hi Peter could you give me your opinion on CSI why it down so much in the last few days thanks!
Q: Hello, I want to buy into MND but the price has just dropped on good results. What do you think?
Q: What do you think of the potential for capital gains and dividend sustainability for Tricon Capital Group. (TCN)?
Q: Why do you think BTE has dropped in the last few days? Do you still like it.
Q: HCG has taken a small hit recently and I may have missed some news. Also how will HCG be affected by increasing interest rates expected late this year or next year.

Q: Your assessment would be appreciated of [SAS], St Andrews Goldfields after their report, yesterday,Feb 14.Was it positive, negative or neutral? Does it raise your estimation of the stock?
Q: Hello 5i, I would like to ask your view of Sterling Resources SLG as to the company itself and the recent takeover offer and do you think there will be a competing higer offer. Also your view on selling now or wait.
Q: of all the company's that you have done reports on which ones do you think have the best chance of tripling over a 10 yr. period, thanks.
Q: SLF. Would you buy now as it looks like it's house is getting in better shape & dividend is secure. I am long-term invester & was thinking for my RRSP.
Q: JE. In light of recent results: reduced dividend which street was expecting, buying back a lot of shares and what looks like a better BS going fwd, would you buy this stock now?
Q: Hi team, this may be a fundamental question, but why when a company announces a share buyback, which you would think be a good thing does the stock get slammed. This seems to have just happened to JE Just Energy, even after a dividend cut. Won't a reduction in shares outstanding provided the existing shareholder with a bit of stability in the share price?
