Q: I blew it with all 5 of these holdings (i.e. I'm in the red). I am getting impatient with them and am feeling compelled to bail. Which (if any) of them would you hold on to? Which of them would you ditch first?

Q: Thank you for your excellent service. The best piece of advice that you have given is not to add to loosing positions. Due to that advice both ITC (1.5% of portfolio) and CRH (0.6% of portfolio) contribute little to my overall portfolio of 34 stocks. Would you sell in a clean up trade or top them up to 2.5% weighting. My portfolio mirrors your balanced portfolio and is well diversified.

Q: Hi team,

Is the worst over for HCG and CRH? Or it is better to stay away for a bit longer?

If you had money to invest would you consider any of them at this time and what weight would you give it? Or would you put the money in another stock? Like what?

I am a growth investor and can take on moderate risk.

Thanks as always!

Q: Hi,

I think the payor mix and reimbursement changes are the largest risk to this company. Assuming much more margin pressure, using very conservative estimates, my DCF model points to a higher value then current share price. Their products and services are essential and I can’t foresee a substitute. Am I missing something? Do you guys see any major long-term trends that could threaten their business model?
I have a long-term outlook (5 years out) and can handle volatility. Would you say the probabilities of a double from today's share price in 5 years is high?

Thanks,
R

Q: Hi Peter and Staff
I know you do not generally favour averaging down. If I was to top up one of the 3 below to small weighting ignoring sector allocation, please rank them, best to worst to average down on at present
Thanks for all you do

Q: From the growth portfolio do you see any upside on the horizon for these 4 names, I have a large amount of small stock holdings that are under .05% of my portfolio value hence trying to sell some off and pick just 4 names to clean things up, I will still maintain a well diversified portfolio even after clearing out the low percentage stocks.
Are there 4 others names you would suggest if not the above.

Q: Hi team,
I wanted to get your opinion on the start of my son's RESP.
BYD 30%, GUD 40%, PHO 15%, CRH 15%
I recently added CRH on what I viewed as a value play, however I'm not sure about this move. Would you swap CRH out, and if so for what? Any suggestions or tips are appreciated.

Keep up the good work. Cheers

Q: I'm long CRH but I'm trying to consider all the negative outcomes that could take place. We are aware of the proposed code changes that will effect the reimbursement rate to CRH. But I keep hearing that private insurers will likely follow suit and cut back their reimbursement rate. If only the gov rate cut is factored into this big pull back could there possibly not be another big pull back if they cut back as well? I know CRH came out and stated what the hit to earnings would roughly be from GOV cuts but aren't the private insurers the majority of their income. Thanks

Q: I find the negative news seems to always carry more weight than the positive. So on the flipside of the TD downgrade this week here is the positive news on CRH.RBC upgrades CRH to outperform today and on Monday Canaccord restated buy ratings stating the correction for the reimbursement change is over done.I'll also mention the analyst from TD that downgraded CRH is ranked as having a 37% success rate and is ranked 4026 out of 4601 analysts. It is crazy to me that a downgrade from an analyst with such a spotty record would impact the stock so much but I know its due to the current negative sentiment with reimbursement changes. This is just an fyi for those bothered by CRH's recent losses.

Q: Without regard for sector diversification and/or weight - If I needed to raise some cash in my portfolio, and wanted to sell some of my losers...which of these names would you sell in order of priority. Could you kindly provide rationale for why you might sell vs. hold. Thanks
