Q: With the drop in share price last month or so of 20 percent would you invest in it or is it a value trap?

Q: Still a hold?? Thx
Q: Can you please provide your current assessment of Superior Propane (SPB)? I have been invested for about 3 years and am down close to 50% and it continues to follow its trend of decreasing stock price ever since I owned it. Did I miss one of your fundamental reasons to sell and do I now consider holding for purposes of income, if you think it has hit a floor and has no further growth prospect? Thanks again - John C
Q: Do you think spb has bottomed, or do you speculate that further downside will prevail due to tax loss selling?
I have a half position near current sp. What do you think about adding a little bit now, or wait for a further dip in the next 2 months, or simply just hold.
Thank you

Q: At what price does SPB become compelling?
-
Superior Plus Corp. (SPB $6.88)
-
WELL Health Technologies Corp. (WELL $3.77)
-
Flutter Entertainment Plc (FLUT $101.96)
Q: Hi there, may I please have your quick thoughts on results for FLUT, SPB and WELL?
Thanks!
Thanks!
Q: I am an income investor. Can you please explain, with falling interest rates, the risks associated to making a significant bet on Superior Plus Company (SPB). From my reading, the 9% dividend is well covered by earnings and the debt, though significant, is coming down. The company is making money with a largely captive audience and the day to day share price is largely irrelevant to me. With a 5 year, plus, horizon, I don’t get the low share price. Is this a poor man’s Enbridge?
Thanks for the help!!
Thanks for the help!!
Q: Do you think spb.ca dividend safe and would recommend the company .
Q: Is Superior Plus worth holding on to for the dividend as it continues to drop or is it a sell?
Q: Can you tell me if Brookfield has divested of its shares in Superior Plus? I had thought they would have bought them out by now. Also, has Superior Plus cut their dividend. I bought it years ago for the yield but I am down considerably. Would you cut your losses and move on or is it too cheap to sell now.
And if I sell, what to replace it with.
And if I sell, what to replace it with.
Q: If Brookfield has been unloading their shares, when do they have to report thru sedar ?
Q: I currently own SPB in a lost position and wondered if you would add to it or would prefer to sell SPB and buy CNQ? This is for a RRSP account.
Thanks
Thanks

Q: I am down on both of the above. I understand Royal has a 15.00 target on SPB. Would you think I should switch AQN TO SPB??
Q: What is the estimated cash flow for 2024, in CDN?
Is the recent departure of an executive all that significant?
This one has really been drifting lower.

Q: What do you think if Superior Plus price point today? Buying for yield and hopefully price appreciation as well. Why has it gone down and what would it take to move the price up?
Thank you
Thank you
Q: Dear 5i team.
I know these Qs are all asking for opinions, so appreicate your input on the following:
At what price does SPB look attractive for income and limited capital risk?
What % does Brookfield own of SPB and at what point do you think this gets cheap enough for them to take private?
What seems to be the problem with mgmt getting this business to achieve profitable growth, and create shareholder value?
Seems to me propane distribution and use business has many years of runway left in our lifetimes.
Appreciate your insights.

Q: Yesterday I said that I have just sold all our shares in SPB:CA despite the high dividend, because the share price has been languishing for too long. In fact the share price has been steadily declining and it is this decline over a long period that has pushed me to sell.
I asked for alternatives in the energy industry, but you excluded oil and gas suggestions.
I have recently sold ENB because its share price has also been steadily declining. If a stock has a high dividend, I still like to see the share price remaining stable or increasing a little.
We have a 5% position in BEP:UN, but I have always considered this to be more of a utility than an energy stock. Your suggestions seem to be very similar to BEP:UN.
So can you reflect on this and give me a suggestion on a single company in the energy industry that is likely to provide the best ROI over the next 3-5 years, but include oil & gas in your answer.
Thanks in advance.

It was our only stock in the energy industry and we should replace like for like.
What are your best suggestions for the next 3-5 years for total ROI in a RIF?
