Q: Is the payout (dividend) secure from this REIT? There is some concern expressed about the office real estate sector with more people working from home, going forward.

Q: I am trying to get an idea on the revenue growth potential of SMU.un. My info is based on the 2021 annual report.
The company seems to have a good portion of its industrial lease renewals coming soon. In fact, 25% in 2022, 40% in 2023, and 29% in 2024. In a very tight leasing market, where vacancy rate is <1%, such as GTA, GMA, these lease renewals could potentially bring in 20%, 33%, and 29% (corresponding to each of the three years) to the overall revenue without any major added operating expenses. Theoretically, do you foresee the current P/E at about $20 justified or understated on this growth potential?
Thanks,
Roger

Q: True North REIT is paying 8.41% as of today. Is this dividend sustainable and is the share price solid?
Please recommend two other REITs with a relatively generous but safe dividend for steady income? Thanks.

Q: Hello 5i Team
I am reviewing a spreadsheet I developed for tracking Canadian REITs and the following REITS which were listed on the TSVX and I cannot find current information on:
LRT-UN – Lanesborough REIT
NHT-UN – NexPoint Hospitality REIT
PT-UN – Pine Trail REIT
RRR-N – R&R REIT
I am assuming these are all defunct, however where can I confirm that a company is defunct and the corresponding TSXV listing dropped.
Thanks

Q: What is your opinion of this REIT? Worth buying some here? Was thinking of either adding to a tiny position from HR spin-off or just selling it.
Q: What are your thoughts about Chartwell Reit's plans to divest itself of 16 long term care homes?

Thank you

Q: This is a $160,000 000 IPO for DRR.U (probable ticker), available through RBC for one. They will own - subsequent to acquisition - over 3,000 townhouse units in the US, with occupancy at 96%. The price is not set, nor the expected distribution. It also seems like over 40% will be held by some of the forming partners (some of the properties are being bought from them).
I would appreciate your opinion on this one, particularly with regards to any red flags you can spot!
Thanks! Paul K

Q: Hello 5i Research Team,
David Berman's recent article in the Globe suggested that now may be a good time to buy beaten down stocks in the US home building industry (i.e. builders and suppliers). Would you agree? Either way, could you please rank the listed stocks for a 5-year hold for an investor with an above-average level of risk, and add any better names I've missed.
Thanks!

Q: I see the EPS for Colliers is -$10.96 .
Has this company ever had a positive EPS and is there an estimated timeline now to achieve a positive EPS in the future?

Q: I thought I saw that a new analyst is following DRI, calling it a rare gem in the sector with a combination of higher yield but still having growth potential. It is still a fair bit under it’s IPO price, and too small to attract much attention I would think. I read your previous comments on this company, wondering if you having any other “colour commentary”? I’m tempted to put it into a TFSA, especially if the typical growth ideas may be facing headwinds for awhile. Do you know anything about the management, or the company’s performance/history before IPO’ing?
