Q: I see for various reasons you favour these two copper companies. Considering the setback First Quantum has had in Panama, how would you rate country risk for LUN and CS? Thanks

Q: Hello, What major company would you suggest the produces iron? Seeing as the war in Ukraine is reducing the supply from the side of the world. Other than Brazil, is there a major player in North America you would recommend and why? Thanks
Q: I remember that Peter has not always spoken fondly of Robert Friedland, while one of his former associates at Sprott, Rick Rule, has stated that Friedland is "serially successful." There is no doubt that Ivanhoe's DRC assets are first-class, but a recent article in the G & M has cast doubt on Ivanhoe's corporate practices in the DRC. The share price has dropped significantly as a result. Do you believe this is a buying opportunity, if not tomorrow then when the share price stabilizes? I am a long-term copper bull.
Q: Have you read IVN rebuttal? What do you think?
Q: LAC is buying (subject to approval) Arena by offering LAC shares but no cash. I currently hold AN and am wondering what your view of the takeover is; good, bad or indifferent? Does it make more sense to wait and take the LAC shares or sell for cash now. One concern I have is the LAC will be splitting into 2 companies but other than one company holding American properties and the other holding International properties (ie. AN) I can’t find details about the proportions of the new structure. I’m a little concerned about LAC AFTER the new companies are in place. The American focused company has current environmental issues that will presumably continue. I’m not looking for personal advice here just your opinion of a general nature. Deduct as my credits as necessary, I would value your insight as always.
Q: May I have your comments on recent news on their mine in Panama. Thanks.

Q: What to do with IVN? I have a large capital gain and am reluctant to sell now, but I am worried about the reports of the investigations underway. Your guidance would be much appreciated.
Q: Looking for a process to calculate the geopolitical risk discount on these two as I am considering consolidating into one.
Q: Peter and His Wonder Team

Wheaton Precious Metals Corp. (WPM $147.64)
-
Maverix Metals Inc. (MMX $6.53)
Q: With you getting rid of MMX from your model portfolio, what replacement for gold exposure would you prefer? I like the royalty model.
Q: I've noted a couple of articles on the expected rise in copper prices over the next 12 months. Is this something you agree with? What one large and one small copper producer would you select for capital return over this period.
Q: Hi Guys
I have noticed that there has been heavy insider selling on Capstone over the last 12 months, looks like they have collectively sold more than 20 million shares. Shares they could have accumulated around .55cent a few years ago. Insiders now only own around 5%, have we not missed the boat here?
Thanks Gord

Aritzia Inc. Subordinate Voting Shares (ATZ $86.00)
Q: I am retired and so I spend a lot of time on business TV and online financial literature. It seems negative for 2023. Also, some popular securities BEP.UN - it has not had an up day in ages and ATZ has been range bound for the past 2 months. Today, FM is down 5% with no explanations on the sites I have checked as to why it is down 5%. Hopefully 5i can shed some light on my question. Thank you,
Q: Karora down almost 10% today. Any idea why? I know it can be a higher beta stock but this is a bit much for them.
Q: Hi Peter, Ryan, & 5i team,
Major Drilling just reported. What did you think of this quarter? Being in a cyclical industry do you think their services will still be in demand in the next few years.
Thank you for your opinion.

Victoria Gold Corp. (VGCX $0.48)
Q: Currently reviewing my precious metals exposure. In my royalty companies I have a full position in FNV and MMX. Would you hold MMX with the pending purchase by TFPM or would you sell and buy WPM at this time? In my gold miners, I have half positions in VGCX and NEM (position resulted from the Goldcorp merger), should either be sold and if so, would you purchase AEM? Any further thoughts on the precious metals exposure would be appreciated.
