Q: In late July 2015 CSU peaked intraday just below $600. I sold at $574 reaping a lovely almost 500% gain. The stock bottomed just below $450 in Feb 16 and has been lurching higher since, then going on a $45 tear in the last two weeks.
Two questions:
1. Any reason you can see for the recent tear?
2. As the stock again re-approaches its all time high, and knowing you have been a longtime supporter, what are your views on the company and the stock at these levels?
Thanks
Kim

Q: Peter and Team:
Do you feel a Democratic Presidential win would have short or long term affects on GUD's business model and share price?.
What is their overall exposure to US markets.
Thanks as always

Q: Hello Gentleman
I presently hold a half position in MG in my cash account. While recognizing it is a good holding, it seems to be rather flat of late. I am considering selling MG and replacing it with BYD.UN.
I am a conservative investor with a well-balanced portfolio. Your thoughts please.
Thanks.

Q: They report next week, how good are they at beating expectations ?
When stocks miss they go down sometimes 15-20%. When they beat, they go up only 3-5 %, so I am tempting to sell before results going forward, and buy back according to results, good or bad idea ?
thanks

Q: I don't follow the balanced portfolio but rather use your coverage to buy B+ and up companies ensuring that I am diversified as well. But does your latest move with this stock out of the balanced portfolio mean I should sell MDA out of my portfolio even though it is A- rated? Are you changing the rating?
Q: In your recent report on DH, you make the statement "investors seem worried that DH will suffer in the financial industry shift to Fintec solutions, but we are less concerned". However, you don't appear to explain why you are "less concerned"other than they have a strong and diverse client base. Is there anything else that supports your opinion?
What is the thesis being advanced by the short-sellers?
Incidentally, I have owned this company for a number of years and I agree with your B+ rating

Q: Hi folks, please get some clarity of Amaya's holding/ownership of NYX Gaming (who seems to be everyone's darling right now). N/R 01 June,Aya says increased holding in NYX to 26.84%, then 20 July,N/R where Aya says it now owns 15.71% of NYX. Amaya had good Q results & with Q results of NYX, Amaya has sold off 10+% from sp after Q results released. Little confused why Aya so weak, especially with such a large holding in upstart NYX. Thanks for explaining to this confused investor hehe, jb
Q: I have a question about Enercare Inc. I am looking at it for portfolio diversification. I am curious about your high rating of B+. I have looked at it briefly and see high P/E, high debt/equity, negative dividend growth, high distributions (looking at EPS and FFO less capex). I could be misreading information.

Q: Can you tell me does Canada have any listed companies that make components , modules or parts for hybrid / electric vehicles? Are any of them invest-able yet in your opinion? Thanks!
Q: How would you ranks these engineering companies based on current levels and why?
Q: Would the possible strike by Unifor workers in Canada affect the stock price?
Q: How do you decide whether to use a DRIP or not for companies in your portfolio? Do you base it on whether you need dividend income or not or is it more company specific? We can use SIS as an example since I own some shares and wondering if I should drip the 2% dividends or take the cash.
Thanks
Thanks
Q: would you move from Canadian Western to Home Capital?? Thanks Jim
Q: Of course, nobody knows the future, but anyway what is the future in the next year or longer for DH Corp. good or bad? Are the short sellers going to keep the stock price down for the next or longer? In addition, is there too much competition to help their margins grow in the future?
Q: Hi, with sis at an all time high, do you still see it as being a strong buy for the long term (multiple years)? I feel like with baby boomers getting older their products may become more sought after.
Thanks
Thanks
Q: The Target Price Data Report of July 29 has AW.UN at minus 46% and all the restaurant trusts with minus targets by analysts, AW being the worst, and the best at minus 11%. All except one has a Buy rating. Can you suggest a reason for this anomaly?
Q: Would you recommend taking an initial position on PBH at $63? This is more or less at its all time high. Your insight is much appreciated.
