Q: ENF pays a good dividend but has fallen considerably recently. Yet BNN rates it at 3 strong buys, 2 buys, 1 hold. On the other hand, BMO rates it as 0 Bulls, 8 Bears, falling yet undervalued. I have a full position; Hold, Trim or Sell? Thanks
Q: I would like to add some consumer staples to my portfolio for diversification purposes. Would you please recommend two or three?
Thanks

Q: Understanding the "portfolio" aspect to your approach, this may be a tough question.
I hold your balanced portfolio but wanted to add growth. Should I add a small position in each of the growth names, or are there some specific names from the growth portfolio you would add?
Thanks.

Q: My technology companies are AAPL, AVO, CSU, ESL, OTC,PUR and TNC. Together they represent 18 percent of my portfolio. How would you suggest I go about adding SH or KXS? Should I just go overweight with technology or replace 1 or 2 or more. Or just stick with what I have and not fit these two additions. If you suggest only one of SH and KXS then could you please specify which one.
Q: Noticed today the the REIT ETF was up 2% as were a lot of the major REIT's.
Any thoughts on why such as strong up day?

Q: What is the consensus for CXR's upcoming earnings? At $30, does the risk/reward present a time to double down?

Q: Hello Peter and team: I am looking at the above rate reset preferred shares, both of which have a minimum reset rate of 5.75% at maturity and are currnetly yielding approx. 5.7%.
Assuming that interest rates are not set to rise substantially in the next few years, what other factors and risks may cause these preferred shares to drop in price and do you think that these are safe to hold for the yield for a 5 year+ hold in a TFSA. Is there any difference between the M & K series and which would be preferable to hold at this time.
Thank you for your advise.
Joseph

Q: Why add to portfolio now? From what I can tell not much changed since most recent 2014 report. Worry this is bad signal for broader market.
Q: What is the consensus for Q1's revenue, adjusted ebitda and eps?
Q: I'm always looking for good quality dividend companies (4-6%) with some growth potential. I'm currently at about 85-90+ % dividend companies with 10-15% that have more growth potential and little or no dividends. Can you direct me to the best source/list of the companies you sometimes refer to like Fortis that have never reduced their dividend. I believe they are referred to as the 'Dividend Titans"??
Q: I didn't know you were going to be on BNN on Friday, how can I watch it now, I feel like missed a lot from the best.
Q: I have TZZ in my portfolio for income. With today's news is it best to sell now or wait for the end ?
Thanks in advance.
Francois

Q: Hi 5i,
All the previous questions about bank bail-ins and margin accounts has started getting me worried. I didn't realize that margin account holdings were not segregated like cash accounts. Anyway, I have accounts with one of the bank discount brokerages. My biggest account is a margin account. I don't use margin too often, but sometimes I will if I see good value and lack the funds at the time of purchase. Am I over-worrying things? I don't want to lose money in the event of a financial crisis with the bank. Should I convert my account to a cash account?
Thanks in advance!
Wayne

Q: Hi Peter, what would you consider as a best reit to buy now for a long term hold of 3 to 5 years.
Q: How badly do you think that the shareprice of SU will be affected as they are now shutting down operations in Ft McMurray?
Q: Hi,
Thanks for the tip of TMXMONEY to identify the sectors. It turns out I had miss-classified 3 of my stocks (SJ, IPL and ECI). I'm now questioning my weightings. I currently have the following:
Cons. Cyclical 11.9%
Cons. Defensive 0.0%
Financials 17.1%
Healthcare 3.6%
Energy 14.7%
Precious Metals 13.9%
Real Estate 0.0%
Industrials 9.2%
Utilities 0.0%
Technology 24.5%
Materials 4.6%
Communication 0.0%
I'm ok with some risk, which is probably evident from above. My precious metals may be a little high due to the recent bounce in this sector.
Based on the current market environment, do you see these weighting as appropriate? Are there any particular red flags that you see?
Thanks, Ian

Q: Semafo seems to be enjoying the benefit of the current momentum in its sector but do you feel it can sustain the growth on its own merits in the longer term? Thank you, John
Q: In the healthcare sector, what are your views on Bellus Health (blu-t) which had a rapid progression lately and does not seem to be covered by analysts and on Resmed (rmd-n)? Which other companies could be a better alternative at the present time ?
Many thanks for your help,
Jacques
