Q: I currently have ZQQ at a 5% weighting in most of my portfolios and I am considering replacing it with one or two US tech companies. My tech exposure in each portfolio is approximately 20% and I want to maintain that percentage. I have income tax consequences in most portfolios; taking this is account what stocks would you consider to have higher return potential than ZQQ over 5 to 10 years.
I am holding RBC Life Science and Tech mutual fund (RBF1030)which is a nice mix of U.S. technology and health care stocks.
What would be a good ETF to replace it or, alternatively, which stocks combination would replace it advantageously ?
Q: I just sold about $5,000.00 in stocks inside my TFSA, with a little profit of $500.00 over the period of 8 months. I did it so I can add it to my self directed RRSP account to lower my taxes this year. In my RRSP I own approx 20% oil,15% financial, 10% utilities, 10% auto, 5% marijuana and the rest is in CDZ. I want to diversify this portfolio. It accounts for 75% of my investments. I am considering a REIT and some technology. What do you recommend?
Q: What do you think about replacing a combination of VGH and ZQQ with a single holding in ZUQ--you gotta love the sound of "high quality". thanks Gary
Q: Much has been made of the emergence of "fintech" as an emerging sector with substantial upside. Can you recommend an ETF that covers this area....or absent that, a few recommended specific companies
