Q: Do you have the short number information on BOS? I just wonder how much of the BOS SP pops of yesterday and today can be attributed to short coverings? Thanks.

Q: Hi 5i Team, I have RAY.A and SYZ in my TFSA for some time now. Both pay a decent dividend of 4+ percent but growth has been underwhelming.. Outside the March crash RAY.A for last 2 years ranges up to 8+ then typically quickly drops down to 6 or lower 7 dollar range. SYZ follows similar pattern ranging over 12 but drop back below it again. Are these stocks you would support to continue holding in a TFSA or can you suggest 5 stocks in order of priority in the similar sectors for replacement. Looking at Canadian Options at this time.
Thanks for you help..

Q: Hi folks, Vivo has been a dog & disaster heading into 2021...but things appear better....2 of top 5 edible brands & 39% market share of Ontario edibles, new sales into Quebec, and just announced certification/licenses for EU-GMP, so that Vivo can begin shipping product immediately into Germany/Europe. Stock sits at .18 with 367M shares outstanding. Can please get your opinion on company going forward...I would think with $70M Market Cap...the EU-GMP news would be worth more than that on a buyout......Buy/Hold/Sell....thanks as usual for great service, JB Piedmont QC
Q: What are your thoughts on this company? I have a small position in this company that I want to either double up or sell.
Q: What is your opinion about this Co?
Thanks for your help.
Thanks for your help.
Q: Can you tell me what your thoughts are on Globex Data, and if you think it might be worthwhile picking up at some point where would you be comfortable entering. TIA!
Q: Risk tolerance in TFSA high. Both spouses are vested in defined benefit pension. 5 to 15 year timeframe. I am thinking of slowly adding to existing XBC position and initiating MITK position. Would you suggest waiting until after XBC reports? I worry a good buying opportunity will be lost if we don't add to that position in advance. Do we have a timeframe around the MITK legal situation?

Q: Lately I've noticed a lot of people on Fintwit commenting about the market switching from growth to value. A lot of them seem to be bullish on IWN. I already own IWO, and have enough cash to also buy IWN. If we are moving from growth to value, would IWN outperform IWO? Is there a big difference between them?
Q: RE: The question asked earlier today by David regarding the nice move up with EGLX...
Perhaps this isn't the only reason, but there was an article on the BBC over the weekend reporting how the "interest in e-sports will only grow and grow."

Q: Good morning, would you be able to comment on NovaBay Pharmaceuticals, do you see it as a stock worth picking up, and if you do, at what entry point would you yourself feel comfortable going in? I have been waiting for it to go lower but it seems to have a good bit of strength in the .90-$1.00 range. I was hoping it would dip into the .70s but its not looking like that will happen again soon. Thank you!!
Q: What do you think of their latest quarter and their out look going forward.
Q: I have $399 cash in my TFSA. Do you of a speculative stock that I could buy, with the understanding that I may never see the $399 again.
As always thanks for your great help.

Q: Could i get your thoughts on this company, the latest quarter,do you think their price got dragged down because of XBC misstep.Would you consider this a buy at $ 2.00 thanks
Q: A general comment in response to the flurry of questions pursuant to XBC's recent declines. I, too, have taken a paper hit on XBC (down by half). But I went in knowing the risks and am playing the long game. This could turn out badly, or not. But it is part of a well-diversified portfolio, so the one hit is tolerable.
I'd like to remind fellow members all stocks have risks, and 5i to its credit has been consistent about potential risks of XBC and the view that it is a longer-term hold. Below are quotes pulled from 5i's December 21, 2020 Review (Report), followed by answers to some recent questions from members.
REPORT
"Xebec has customer concentration risks with five main customers accounting for ~40% of Xebec’s total revenue."
"...XBC faces risks associated with volatility of oil and natural gas prices as many of Xebec’s customers rely on the sale of natural gas."
"While the stock can see severe volatility in any short-term period, we think XBC is a name in the renewable energy space that has the potential to reward patient investors over the long-run."
"B+. Fundamentally strong. ... Good for the long-term, but some risks exist."
ANSWERS
Feb. 11, 2021 to Garth: "We like XBC's prospects and growth. It is still quite high risk and the higher valuation today adds more."
Feb. 1 to Ilie: "We think XBC has room to run from here, but we would take a long term approach."
Jan. 26 to Warren's question in which he states he's looking for growth and has high risk tolerance: "We would consider ... XBC..."
Jan. 21 to Kay:
"...would be fine buying XBC today with a long term view."

Q: Can I get your take on this US ETF. It seems to have out-performed all the other smallcaps this year. I have some money in it and am thinking of increasing my holding here.
