Q: My question is on Cerrado Gold, a Canadian company that was a spin-off from a piece of junk I bought a long time ago. Its symbol on the venture exchange is CERT but it is not in your database. I was planning on selling it to clean up my portfolio but after some initial due diligence, it seems like it might be worth keeping. I find its balance sheet confusing in regards to its debt level so I want your thoughts before I do anything. Its a very small position so not a factor in my portfolio.

Not investment advice or solicitation to buy/sell securities. Do your own due diligence and/or consult an advisor.
Q: I have read the question history on Quantum related companies and have noted that these 4 seem to be most well known.
Are there any publicly traded, earlier stage (not yet pumped) companies that are worth monitoring for future potential? Not companies you buy today but companies with interesting concepts/potential in this field that could be "next".

Q: Declining debt and higher margin for its products: Do you think this company would be a takeover target? Clearwater went that way a number of years ago. I also noticed a very high volume trade day (almost 10X normal volume) on December 19, 2024. Pays a dividend of 4.4%.
Q: I would like your thoughts on NTG Clarity Networks (NCI), a small company that has been profitable for a few years now, and is showing triple digit growth in revenue, EBITDA and profit for 2024, yet trading under 10 times earnings. Today they put out an interesting wrap up of their activity in 2024. Is their concentration in Saudi Arabia a big risk?
Q: Hi Team, I noticed DRX was removed from Growth PF .
If you own it as GARP patient investor (-22%) in 4 accounts for a total $ =2%. Will you sell, hold or add ?
Thanks
Best Regards

Q: Dear 5i team.
Since my Q on SPB 6/24, a few key things have changed.
1) can you discuss the key Corp.changes (cut to divi being the most significant) and possible impact to their balance sheet?
2) Has anything changed with regards to Brookfield ownership?
3) What is your ouotlook for the SP given answers above. Looking at the 1 yr chart, it's gone from 10 to 6 so a 50% fib. retracement implies a move back to 8. (That's my back of the napkin assesment.)
I'd like to bring this to a full position, but wanted your commentry first.
Many thanks for your help.

Q: Hi team,
What’s your current thoughts on Vhi? Valuation wise it currently seems pricey . But , the company recently completed a big offering at near today’s price. So, investors seem to want to pay up for the name. Recently Jason Donville named it as a top pick , with him spouting that it should be a $20 stock in a year. Is this realistic ? I remember when Donville was a small cap god on BNN 10 years ago; at one time he had a good reputation it seemed as a stock picker . He also mentioned that it is the next dsg. Big shoes to full. I guess question is does vhi really have the potential to change the healthcare software sector radically in the next few years ? Does it hold a product ahead of any competition? Is this a name that could be a huge winner in the long run ? I hold a smaller position currently. Wondering if it’s worth a shot adding to the band long term at this level ?
Thanks ,
Shane

Q: Could you please share your thoughts about Paladin as an investment to take advantage of uranium’s uptrend.
I’m a long time Fission shareholder wondering whether to hold on or invest elsewhere.
Thank you.
Marc.

Q: Hi Peter…Would you buy more GOT now? They seem to be posting excellent grades today. My weighting is 1/2 of 1%. Still maybe I should just let the stock ride. Gold is just so hard to call. Any thoughts you have would be appreciated.

Q: Your thoughts on big drop today? Buying opportunity?
Q: FRU has revenue from U.S. operations. Might this offer protection against tariffs? Are there Canadian companies with most of their revenue from the U.S.?
Q: Zoomd Technologies (ZOMD) had an important announcement yesterday about adding several major new clients, including the NBA. The stock has climbed 23% in the 2 trading sessions since. Now close to $100 million market cap. Their software seems to have applications to just about any industry involved in digital advertising. Most recent quarterly financial report was very impressive. Wondering what you think of this company's potential.
Q: Looks like NFI has a floor around this level. Think this would the time to start a position?
Q: Outlook for this name?
Q: Hi 5i,

Q: Hi,
Do you have a view as to how the TSX will respond if and when Trump announces 25% tariffs on Canadian goods?
Will oil and gas sector take a hit, like Suncor, and CNQ?
Thanks
Robert

Q: Hello 5i
One of the advantages a small investor may have is access to buying small companies where Institutional Investors would not be able to buy a meaningful position. Easy to say that Source Rock Royalties is a tiny company at $40 MM.
As they have been operating since 2013 (public since March 2022) with a successful dividend + Growth Model and never a negative cashflow quarter, would you consider this one a decent play for Royalty Income. The Dividend yield is high (9%) with low payout ratio (60%) and cash on the books ...... so it appears the business and income stream are sustainable.
With a quick review of their financials and business model, do you see anything that would be of concern for an investor looking to take up a position to enhance Portfolio income?
I did notice the prior two Q&A.
Thanks

Q: Tantalus looks like it could be breaking out. Have you seen any news to explain this? I believe you were mildly interested before; has your opinion changed at all?
Thanks for all you do.
Thanks for all you do.
Q: You have remained quite positive on Hammond.
Can you advise where their products are produced (I suspect most products for NA are produced in Mexico, therefore subject to any Trump tarries on Mexico, but I may be wrong).
Also do they have the capability of doing some manufacturing in the US
