Q: Diversified with my current portfolio, just looking at what small/mid cap to invest $12k into and leave for 15 years. Burned on Quisitive(risk/reward understood) looking for something that could compound significantly. Are you able to suggest a few options.

Q: I asked a question about this corporation on May 10 and mistakenly made it a private question. If you can now do so, please make it a public question.

Your answer referred me to recent comments and questions on this corporation but the most recent question I see is from March 12.

I would like to ask a follow up question. What are your thoughts about the recent Q1 report from Alaris?

Q: What sector would you consider GENI to be in? The profile says "media", but this doesn't quite line up to a list I typically use (Telecom, Utilities, Materials, Industrials, Real Estate, Consumer Discretionary, Consumer Staples, Financial, Energy, Health Care, Information Technology). Do I just need to update my list, or should I fit it in something like Technology?

Q: I understand GOT is planning to drive an exploration adit at its gold prospect. Do you feel they have done sufficient drilling to justify the adit? I anticipate the adit will escalate the exploration risks / costs. I note no major gold miner has taken an interest in the project as I don’t consider McEwan a major player. Any thoughts you have would be appreciated.

Q: your answORC.B is quite small, and is the 'stub piece' of a company that was sold (Pan Ocean, by the same management) many years ago. So, the team has built and sold companies before. ORC is very small at $55M. Earnings have been up and down, and it currently has $60M net cash. Insiders own 18%. The company has been in a long running dispute with Tanzania, but this was settled this week with more money coming into ORC for natural gas sold in prior years. This is positive but highlights some of the political risk here. Two analysts cover the company. Shares have really underperformed, down 33% in ten years. Despite the pedigree of management, we would have little interest here, though certainly the company could get more active with its cash and this could spice things up if it were to do so. er was

I am wondering why dont we take the company private for no cost and stick 5 million in our pockets. Do you want to go 1/2 and 1/2?

Q: Can I get your take on this small cap company please?
They seem to have successfully pivoted away from money losing west African drilling operations last year, and subsequently locked in longterm consistent copper drilling contracts in Chile. I like their recent focus on profits above revenue growth, and they appear to be on pace for what I assume to be conservatively atleast 0.21 eps this year (pretty cheap). I know debt is high but should be able to continue paying it down in this environment. Am I off here? This is a small position in a risk seeking small cap portfolio but I’m considering averaging up on any weakness. Thanks.
