Q: What is 5i's opinion about Caldwell Partners fiscal Q1 results and outlook. The Company continues to grow its revenues and is posting profits. Would it be realistic that this Company could fetch 1X revenues on a takeover, merge or going private transaction which would imply big upside from the current stock price?

Q: Hello again, 5i team. Thinking about initiating a small postion (1.5% of overall portfolio) in this stock, likely for my TFSA. Stock is up 378% in the last 30 days (!), but I'm having trouble determing whether or not the jump is based on anything substantive. I would greatly appreciate your views on the company itself and the stock in the next 6 - 12 months. Thanks for all the great insights. - Asher
Q: What's your opinion of TMAC Resources? I recently bought it and was expecting a January bounce and but it's now hitting a new 52 week low.
Thanks, Richard

Q: Hi Peter, Ryan, and Team,
I manage my son's TFSA, and it's quite well diversified, except for zero exposure in energy. For this year's contribution, I'm considering one of ENB, IPL, TRP, or PKI. I realize that PKI is in a different sub-sector, but am leaning towards it, and would appreciate your insight. We favour dividend payers, even if it's a small dividend. Thanks as always.

Q: Hi,
I would value your opinion on this company. Its growth trajectory would appear to be difficult to maintain, yet next year's projected revenues would imply it may be able to continue to grow fairly rapidly. I look forward to any comments you may wish to offer - and yes, I would assume it is risky.
thanks,
Dawn

Q: Looking for some clarification. Does CAE manufacture and operate training with simulators or do they just do training on stimulators they purchase?
Q: Hello 5i,
I am now putting growth stocks in my TFSA after putting in my GIC's over the years. I am holding IWO and LNF in an unregistered account. To complete my TFSA contribution should I include IWO or LNF?
Thank you
Stanley

Q: for Derek on transferring money to the US. We use VBCE here in Vancouver and they have a great little app that allows you to transfer from our Cdn Account at CIBC to our Wells Fargo account in the US with no fees and a significantly better exchange rate. We have kids in school in the US so transfers occur quite frequently and they give a better rate depending on your forecasted amount for the year.
Cheers

Q: Please suggest a fairly conservative 5 stock portfolio for the next 5 years
Q: Below is the longer term performance of HQU for 1,3,6month and 1,3,5,10 year periods, along with the Fund Quartile rating. With this longer term return, why wouldn't I just use this fund as my only proxy for NASDAQ listed stocks? The same with SSO for SPY listed stocks? Seems like an easy was to outperform (and under) the markets.
Your thoughts please, pros and cons.

Q: Hello 5i, would you consider BRK.B:US a good place to park 50K (instead of a GIC) for 2-3 years?
It seem to be at a all-time high!

Q: There is a lot of negative news out on Boeing and some companies ,GE for one hurting because of the falling investors are showing. Exchange (EIF) is also in the aeronautics business and do you think it could follow suit with a lets say sympathy drop??
Q: Hello Peter, a 'Market Call' guest whom I've learned to listen to closely over many years (you are the other; hence my 5i membership) recommended Imperial Oil in that sector, largely because he perceived its downside risk to be minimal due to its current price relative to book value. I have a large position in CNQ and a smaller one in Tourmaline. But I'd like to add to my O&G holdings with a stock with a 'lowish' downside. Would you concur with the IMO recommendation for this purpose, or would you suggest I just add to the CNQ and/or Tourmaline. Thank you!
Q: Do earnings estimates and projected rates of growth justify present prices on these stocks?? I have a nervous feeling that a small miss on earnings could trigger a significant correction. Your thoughts, please - Thanks Jim
Q: Hey Guys,
What exactly causes a Bubble? I have read and heard so many different things, so I was wondering what your thoughts were.
I know things get over valued, but how do they get over valued and why?
Thanks
