Q: For 2022, which would be your "bottom 10", least favourite, large to medium sized, canadian listed companies? (It's ok if you choose to offer up more than 10)
Many thanks for you great advice and a very Happy and prosperous New Year.

Q: Hello Peter et al,

I have had $250,000 in cash for about a year now and have recently bought LSPD, TOI and BBD near all time highs for the 3 companies i.e. approximately 40%, 40% and 20% of the portfolio. Of course since I invested in these securities, they have all declined, LSPD more than the others. I have a high risk tolerance and won’t need the money for at least 5 years. With the yields increasing, is there a higher risk of my investments tanking or should I stay invested? As always, your advice is very much appreciated. Thanks a lot.

Q: I would like to use one or more of these companies for tax loss selling. Which two companies do you think are the best candidates to sell. Portfolio diversification will not be affected to any large degree by selling any of these stocks. Thanks.

Q: Hello,

Years ago, I used to swing trade Bombardier; recently, I looked up the ticker and was quite surprised to see it at ~$0.30 CND. Well, I am not considering betting the farm, I was wondering if this company is at risk of being delisted or considering a reverse stock split, of which I am not a fan. Or have they received a sweetheart government contract to start producing respirators and vaccines ; ) jk

Seriously though, please advise if you would touch this company with the tip of a ten-foot pole, or stay clear of it like a long term care home in Quebec.

Thanks,

Q: Ignoring taxes, cash requirements, sector allocation, on a straight-up basis, for a minimum one-year hold, which of the above-listed equities would it be prudent to currently sell, buy, or hold? Thank You

Q: Team,
What do you think about Bombardier? Is it a good stock to buy for a trade.?
I know they have about 9.5B in debt and lots of it is coming due in 2020. But given that they have the support of the government and the Quebec pension fund already invested 2.5B, it seems to be okay for a trade.!
Thank You
