Q: Hi Peter, I have 10% of my portfolio invested in Cameco 6 months back and just basically broke even on that. I know you don't like the sector and it is not going anywhere. So I am planning to sell it and buy 2 high growth stocks. What is your top 2 Canadian high growth stocks to buy today(for a 5-8 year hold)? Do you like any of these? HCG/SW(Sierra Wireless)/PHM/MDA(based on current valuation)? Please give me your best 2 high growth stocks to buy today(it does not have to be one in the list). Would really appreciate your valued opinion.

Q: Peter and team:
I have watched this one from the sidelines for some time now. It is currently on a bit of a roll. Your last comment on CCO was back in Feb. Is there anything driving the current upward trend, and What are your thoughts on this stock as a 5 year+ investment? Is the 800 mil. potential back tax a real issue?
Thanks
Phil

Q: In 2011, I purchased 2000 shares of CCO for growth in my RRSP prior to the collapse of uranium prices. CCO has recovered a bit but I am still down 33%. I am toying with selling now, absorbing the loss, and redeploying the approx. $42K to higher-yielding stocks like FRU or AW.UN with potentially better medium-term growth prospects. Now retired, I want more income and think CCO is dead money, at least for the next few years.
I would welcome your opinion on this approach.

Q: Today UxC Consulting web site updated the Uranium price, up $5.00 this week and now 40% up from spring time lows. What are your thoughts on playing uranium? I own Cameco but was wondering what a couple other stocks you think would have good potential in the uranium space.
Thanks for your time.
Thanks for your time.
Q: I hold Cameco now for nearly 2 years in my RRSP account, which is 100% invested in diversified canadian equities. I felt the company prospects were tantalizing and bought it for the long term. While the market has done pretty well over this 2yr period, I am slightly underwater here. I am wondering if there is an opportunity cost lost here and should I get out now when traditionally there could be seasonal strength?
If you think I should indeed get out, what would you replace it with either in Canada or USA? I have a fairly well diversified portfolio with no exposure to metals/mining and a very small exposure in healthcare with PHM, 10% in oil and gas and overweight in financials. Would you consider switching to Seven generations if trading below $20, something else in Canada or do you have a suggestion something south of the border.
I know this question now extends to more than one, and if you prefer, give a separate answer. How would you compare Tourmaline and Seven Generations @ around 20 dollars?
I would appreciate your viewpoint.
Thanks.

Q: Your thoughts on Cameco at this time ??
Q: Hi Peter, I don't own CCO but would request opinion on whether is it a buy or should wait.
Q: What are your thoughts on CCO Cameco and their large decline
Q: What are your thoughts on Cameco??
Q: What are your thoughts on Cameco after almost 10% decline on the sale of Bruce Power
Q: The uranium sector seems to be moving up a bit and I would like to start accumulating in the sector. Everyone agrees we are going into a mining supply issue and with the Russian weapons supply having stopped I don't see how the price can not go up. What would be your suggestions in the sector.
Would be nice if members could search questions by a key word (like uranium).
Hope you had a good holiday and Thanks for the wonderful service you provide.

Q: When do you expect the uranium spot price to move up. With the HEU expiring and mining not able to fully supply the need, not to mention more reactors being built we have to have a move soon. I would like to pick up a basket of small cap explorers working the Athabasca Basin, what do you think of the Sky Harbour Partners. Or any suggestions, instead of going to Vegas thought I'd try this.
Thanks
Thanks
Q: Cameco is down 20% in the last couple weeks, would you recommend a hold. I assume the drop is related to Uranium pricing, and tax issues
Q: Is Cameco declining because the Canadian Government has accused them of a billion dollar tax fraud? Cameco evidently set up a fake swiss business to avoid paying Canadian taxes on their euro sales.
Q: I am looking at making a long term investment in Uranium. Do you have any producing companies that you can recommend, a little dividend would be nice while it sits there. Thx
Q: cco - do you think that we have bottomed in this stock. with the start of cigar lake, will that start the stock on an uptrend assuming that uranium stays at this price or starts to work higher.
Q: cco - do you think that the attack on the Areva uranium mine in Niger will be the catalyst to start the uranium stocks moving higher?
Q: Is cco a good investment at this tme what can you tell me about this company.

Q: Hello, I am a new member as of today.Very impressed so far. I have found no questions regarding Cameco (CCO). Bought it on the slide after Fukishima but ended 2012 down so tax loss sold with the intent to get back in. However the price has rallied. What is your opinion of a good entry price?
Q: Peter I have a small position in Cameco,50 shares and 500 shares each in Paladin and Uranium One would you add to any of these and which now with this downturn. My cost in each is higher than the level they are at now of course. Thanks
