Q: Your subscriber John asked about switching from Manulife to Element
Financial. I own both stocks (MFC 2.1%, EFN 1.8%) and both are down
on the same percentage. Do you think the switching is wise in my
case? If you think it is ok, when is the best timing? In the
Financial sector, I also own HCG-2%, TD & BNS-9% . Thanks

Q: I'm looking to add a "healthcare" stock to my portfolio. I'm currently only exposed to PHM and TSO3 (combined at about 1.5% of my portfolio), so am looking for something with less risk than those.

Which would you recommend, GUD, CXR or other?

Q: Hi 5i, I'm investing on my NEW TFSA, the stocks I'm thinking on choosing from are: PBH KXS ATD.B GUD NFI RRX OTC.
I would like to reduce the number of stocks to 4. Which one would you suggest I go with, for a 5 year investment, I would like to max my growth and I do not mind taking some risk.

Q: Hi,

I recently opened an RESP account for my daughter and am looking for advice on a few ETFs to purchase that provide some long term growth potential, while being appropriately diversified.

Given that i an just starting to save in this account, I'm starting from a small balance, roughly $2,000, i would prefer to only purchase a couple ETFs to limit transaction costs. I have a relatively long time horizon (18 years).

Q: What US ETFs would you recommend for growth at reasonable risk? I own most of the stocks in your balanced portfolio but about a third of my portfolio is in US$. Not knowing enough about US stocks I think I would probably do better to sell most of them and buy ETFs. I already own XHE.

Q: Someone suggest XAW (iShares Core MSCI All Country World ex Canada Index ETF ) for 50% of the investment portfolio.
