Regarding pbh, what are the biggest risks involved? How are its margins? Do you know their customers?(Starbucks? I think is one). The food business is "to my knowledge" highly competitive and margin sensitive, is pbh a good enough company to overcome its sector or do you think other stocks are better?

Q: I have 80 % of my portfolio invested in the NYSE ( 10% Europe not hedged), I want to start moving some of my portfolio back into Canadian stocks but the CAN Dollar keeps weakening as does oil. Any suggestions or indicators I should use to start pulling the trigger? Thanks so much!

Q: Hi Friends! My question is more general in nature. Most people including myself have a very general understanding of how financial markets and government monetary policy works. In an extreme situation where there is a breakdown of the financial system how can an investor maintain some sort of reservoir of value in the event most traditional investments had little value for a period of time? Sort of extreme I know but I think many average investors wonder about this scenario. Ian

Q: Hi Peter & team, what is the difference between the Consumer Defensive sector and the Consumer Cyclical sector? Is Consumer Defensive another word for Consumer Staples (such as loblaw or Procter & Gamble)? Is Consumer Cyclical another word for Consumer Discretionary (such as Canadian Tire or A&W)? Q: I am wondering how safe Money Market funds are. It is my understanding that they invest in financial instruments and could possibly tank if for example those instruments (and perhaps the financial system) collapses, so your cash out would not equal cash in. Is cash truly the king in terms of certainty? In this case, would there be any insurance coverage (referencing your earlier response to another person asking about Money Market funds)?

DHX 15%
With this years $5500.00 contribution, what would you add to this portfolio? I am thinking at least 2-3 year time frame with growth. CXI? PHM? ALA? XTC? A bank stock? etc.
