Q: Greetings 5i and thank you for your hard work.
I have combed through the various Q's on BIP and see bits and pieces of what is happening with the 'new' shares but do not feel I have the whole picture - plse assist.
I own 300 shares of BIP.UN in a non-Reg account: what can I expect to happen and what should I wind up with when the dust settles? What will be the nature of the shares be and how many will I own?

Q: Where would I find a company's " free cash flow " - is it a combination of items in the financial statements ?

Q: Bipc started trading on mar 31. When does Bepc begin trading?

Q: Is the receipt of BIPC a stock dividend equal to $49.29 per share?

If all the BIPC shares are converted into BIP.UN is the only tax effect an addition to the Adjusted Cost Base equal to the above stock dividend?

Q: Please clarify, ACB calculations.
# 1 One needs to consider all trades registered and non registered accounts, yes or no.
# 2 I sell in a non registered acct. at loss. I buy in less than 30 days in registered or non registered acct,
The loss is not allowed, yes or no.
# 3. However, in question # 2, the buy trade must be entered to get my new ACB regardless if it was done in a registered or non registered acct. yes or no.
# 4. The 30 day rule is calculated from the trade date and not the settlement date. Yes or no.

Q: Which residential reits do you believe have the highest quality tenants? i.e. less likely to defer, default, delay etc. rental payments . Also which reits have the best balance sheets and financial strength? Are any worth investing in at this stage or do we need to see were the dust settles?

Q: I have held TCEHY for some time and am roughly flat. With their strong presence in online gaming and AI, I wonder if TCEHY has a bright future ahead of it and I should continue to be patient or should I take this opportunity to trade up .....maybe to a US Tech company that has been beaten up (I already own KXS, CSU, OTEX, SHOP, CGI, AAPL, GOOGL) offering greater upside. Your thoughts.

Q: I assume that low oil prices will be a benefit to refiners. Which of these could benefit most from a return to air travel and cruise ship activity?

Q: Your answer to Francois's Mar 19 question on EL suggests that they lost money in 2019... I believe that's incorrect and it looks like last yr they likely had one of the lowest if not the lowest of PE's of the companies compared. That being said I understand your reasons for preferring SLF.

Q: Hello, in the Company profile section for XYL, just besides the quote at the top we can see a red letter R that says "restriction started today" we need to put our cursor over the red R to see it (Xylem Inc. New (XYL:US) $ 59.61↓5.52 | -8.48% R). What does "restriction started today" mean? Thanks, Gervais

Q: Just an observation. So the US wants both Russia and the Saudis to cut production to save their companies from bankruptcy while they, the world’s largest producer does not cut. Hmmm

Q: Can you comment on QST's quarter and yearly financials. All looked strong but the collapse of oil will have a negative bearing going forward. What do you see in store for them over the next 1-2 years? Is it now fairly priced or have they been beaten down more than they should have been. Would you buy (a little), hold or sell and why?

Can subscribers expect a special dividend payment?
Reading Knight Therapeutics' results and conference call recap, I learned Knight now has 700 employees, will have over $400M in cash after paying out all shareholders to conclude the purchase, concluded the battle with Medison, started expanding into Mexico on day one in December and does not foresee any financial stress on the company due to the virus. This is very positive. On the negative side, they obviously have a problem getting to Doctors although the flow of medicine is uninterrupted, two drugs were not designated for public funding by Health Canada and, obviously, the timing of the purchase would have most likely been better if done a couple of months later after the virus hit.
A couple of questions: would Knight have any options with the drugs refused public insurance or are they stuck with these investments and how much will that affect their business; do you think Knight will be able to use their vast international network to bring new drugs to Biotoscan that they may not have had access to; how much will the virus interfere with revenues in Canada, Israel and LatAm or will shipments continue as usual; and, finally, in general, do you think Knight, all situations considered, is on a positive trajectory for the future when the current crisis ends?

Q: Hi 5i - I have 5% cash left and was thinking of allocating it to CDZ - it yields 5.8% and is it would be a 50% gain if it gets back to its highs. I know dividend paying stocks have taken a beating, but does this seem to be an excellent long term investment? Thanks, Neil
